Arranged 2 weeks in advance, was promised a phone call to let me know final pickup location. No phone call, I had to call. Was given pickup location but morning of was contacted to change location. Fine. Supposed to open at 10, at 1015 no opening at a-storage. Called u-haul, on hold for 15 minutes, they changed the location again, so I started walking because i had been dropped off at 0945. Yes walking to the new location. New location was ready and the truck and experience were great…..and u-haul gave me a bigger truck for same price, which I appreciated, only reason for an average review versus worse, but the disruption to my moving plan and the inconvenience of the people I had to help was totally avoidable.

AMY JThe truck was filthy. The cab covered in oil and dirt. My pick up pictures will show it. This is also a potentially dangerous location to leave from as there is no parking lot only a wide gravel section on the side of the road. Second time picking up here, same result both times.
LARRY TThe only things I didn’t care for was the lack of a true parking lot. I had to back up towards/right next to almost into traffic to begin my journey. Next, I would rather have a full truck than a dolly and pads that u have to move around and hope that no one that’s helping or kids that are excited about the move and want to help don’t break the seals and I get charged for something I never wanted. That is meant to help actually causes more stress in a move.
