The truck was disgusting... dirty, check engine light was on from start of rental until end. Representative told me that the light is always in all of the trucks. I was 25 min late on return and despite my call ahead that I would be cutting it close, I was charged a full extra day. Not a good experience.

The cargo van that I reserved was not available when I arrived for pick up. I received no notification prior to this morning’s pick up. Gentleman stated that there was nothing he could do until he contacted U-Haul. He stated that I could have a truck and quoted me a price of $74 total. When I received the copy of the receipt I was charged $30 more than what was quoted and the mileage was charged at$1.79 a mile and not the $1.29 a mile that I had originally booked the cargo van for. This bait and switch is incredibly inconsiderate and shows bad customer service. Shame on you U-Haul.
