Items that i reserved were not available. The inside of the the truck was dirty. I was told that it was mandatory for me to log onto the site with my phone and do the self guided walk around.

We was waiting in line another young lady walked in and the employee took the young lady that just walked in instead of taking care of us we had to wait longer rather than the employee take of us , thats bad customer service but theres a young black man slinder tall didn't get his but he can in from the return lane and immediately took care of us he is good at his job he reliable and he is an asset to that location he deserves a raise he gets you in & out he great

Train your office staff better. My experience with customer service and the maintenance guy at the drop off was good. But the people in store are incompetent I had a horrible experience. They were disrespectful and unprofessional. They double booked my rental and the they just ignored me and were very incos

The wheels of the trailer had rust on them near the lug nuts. The trailer constantly squeaks. The entire process at pick up was an embarrassment with the owner/manager Mayra. I was told I cannot hook up my own trailer that was assigned to me. It is my F350 truck. I am totally responsible when I get the trailer. Besides your employee walked away and did not come back to help me back up to the trailer. I took it upon myself. Additionally the rachet straps were in bad shape. The straps were frayed on the end making it hard to slide into the rachet. The rachet didn't move well. I asked the attendant to get me some lubricant to help the movement. He gave the lubriant to me and I applied. This is all easy stuff. I own a 35 foot Big Tex gooseneck trailer. I prefer to move cars on the uhaul equipment. I believe it is safer. Based on my experience with U-haul, I can tell you that not only do they have horrific service, rude reps, they could care less about endangering YOUR LIFE & those on the road with you!! It all started with a simple reservation to pick up a truck and an auto trailer for a oneway interstate move. The night before pick up, I got a call telling me that I’d have to go to another location to pick up the truck. Not the end of the world. Then the rep went on to tell me that the auto transport was at a second location 4 miles away. I asked if they could at least get the transport to the same location the truck I was renting. His response. “We don’t offer that service” I called them back in the morning to ask if they could get the equipment I was renting to a single location. Honestly, is that too much to ask of a nationwide company that rents trucks & auto transports?!?!? Well, that rep assured me that the auto transport would be at the location I was renting the truck in Watts, not the Westchester location I confirmed and paid in full for a pick up several days in advance. She claimed she updated my reservation, so off I went to the location. Upon arrival at the Watts location, they told me that they didn’t have a reservation for the auto-transport. The office called corporate and spoke to L.A. reservation manager “Leoné”. She changed that reservation over to the location I was getting my truck. They then hooked that auto transport to the truck. The rep began looking over the paperwork and luckily found that the auto-transport was NOT SAFE for my vehicle. I was thankful, but still upset as I would have to drive to the other location and get the transport EVEN THOUGH I WAS REASSURED NUMEROUS TIMES DURING THAT MORNINGS PHONE CALL. BUT IT GETS MUCH WORSE AND LIFE-THREATENING! I got my truck for the 350+ mile rental with 1/8 tank gas. Spectacular service, huh?!? I went to the next location to pick up the transport, they no longer had the reservation as it had been changed to the truck location. No one bothered to get that updated. They simply could care less about any moniker of service whatsoever! I called the corporate office and got the charming (HEAVY SARCASM!!) Leoné who was rude and said this was “all my fault ‘cause I had had kepted changing’ my reservation location” This is how Uhaul treats someone spending north of $700.00 dollars!! SO HER COME THE LIFE THREATENING PART! They connected my auto transport and I headed off to the closest gas station in a pretty sketchy neighborhood where cashiers protect themselves with bulletproof plexiglass. I had to get gas for the 10/ gallon vehicle that Haul rented me with close to an empty tank. I loaded up all that day and got on the road. I noticed what I thought was a slow leak on the tire of the auto transport. I filled it with air and listened to the sidewall for hissing. It seemed to be fine. I took a picture, but didn’t notice the won tread that shows this piece of equipment has been on the road

I would like to thank the young lady that checked me in, her customer service was superb. She was amazing in providing me with the details and help us promptly. I have to admit after being disappointed at getting the location switched and not happy and having to go out of my way to get the U-Haul 15ft. she really calmed me down and made me feel welcome. I filed a complaint for this location since their employees lack professionalism and are very rude. It took them over 20 hours to check a truck I returned, and I was expected to stand around & wait for them to check it. The employees from this particular location have no interest in processing orders quickly, their attitudes seem to invite customers to leave. In other locations I never wait longer than 10 minutes to walk out with a smile, but in this location after 20 minutes of going back & forth I was told that I could leave the truck & they would email my receipt, after they inspect it, but after 11/2 hours when I called to ask about my receipt they still had not checked the truck claiming they were short staff. Then, they call me the next day at 9:40am demanding I return the truck. It was clear to me that they knew all along they had the truck because after I explained that the truck was on their property two hours before my scheduled drop off and how they made me go back & forth the lady immediately said she had found the keys to the truck instead of saying we found the truck. After I received my receipt I was shocked to see they had billed me $92 for gas. I dropped off the truck with more gas than it had so its clear to me that someone who works there used the truck and now they want to bill me for the gas they used. I am very unhappy with my experience at Uhaul in Lynwood and I will tell all my friends, and family not to ever visit that location.

Plus the gentleman that I spoke to when we rented on Western said that it was going to be $10 for insurance not $15
