I was not made aware of the $30 insurance fee in advance, and was charged $100 to drive it in same town to bring a free couch to a disabled senior, who I was doing a favor for. Did not think it would cost more the $30 to rent.
Dawn CI called ahead to make sure the furniture blankets would be in the truck bc pickup was at 10 pm, which was after closing time. They assured me yes, they would be there. They were not present.
Andrew ITo return the fuel level to the same as when you took it. Is the most ridiculous rule. All rental vehicles should be at full when taken and returned full. Absolutely outrageous.
Nozer GThe reason i would recommend the location is due to the convenience of the location for the Summit area. However, the truck was dirty and the mirror on the passenger side was loose and kept changing position during driving, making changing lanes difficult and dangerous. We had to clean the windshield and windows with Windex on the inside to be able to see while driving. We expected more from a location in Madison, NJ. We rented a U Haul in Florham Park 2 weeks ago and it was impeccable by comparison.
