Location and equipment fine but your app and website are useless. App did not recognize this order and website kept switching to Spanish then skipped over telling me how to get key (was a pickup and drop-off on Sunday) such that I had to be on the phone more than 30 minutes to get the pickup straightened out. When returning your useless webpage would not let me indicate there was no damage. Your IT people have a lot of work to do.........

The 26' uhaul truck ran well, no engine or truck problems for whole distance of about 700 miles. But, the A/C unit in the truck didn't work properly, didn't cool, and the drive was in 80 plus degree heat. Not comfortable. And, the radio was rather suspect, took some 30 minutes to get it to work.

First and foremost I want to say I have no problem with ANY of the local locations we dealt with. All of the locals went out of their way to help us with any issues we had. The problem we had was with corporate. My daughter was moving out of state about 180 miles away. We reserved a U-Haul 2 months in advance. The morning before the move we got an email from the district manager saying it was a busy moving weekend but they would try an accommodate everyone as best as possible. About an hour later we got an email stating we were guaranteed a truck but our pickup location had moved an hour away and our pickup time was 8 hours later. Not great news but we would work with it. I decided to call that location to confirm. They told me they had no trucks available for us. We then called U-Haul directly. They began searching for a truck. We were in a small town but we had Chicago an hour away, Madison an hour away and Milwaukee 2 hours away. None of those cities had trucks. The closest truck available was 3 ½ hours away. There concession was $100 off our bill of $450 and 150 extra miles. I guess my biggest complaint is that U-Haul sent us emails stating they were GUARANTEEING us a vehicle at specific locations when there are no vehicles there. Moving is stressful enough. The one thing I wasn’t worried about was the truck because we had ours reserved. Or so I thought.

The vehicle smelled like smoke really bad. This was not Fallier's fault this was the person who rented the truck prior. They sprayed the truck for us but I think it should be policy of U-Hauls to not allow smoking like car rental companies and if the customer does a fee/fine will be imposed.

I needed to call to correct the simple details of this transaction twice. Had I not caught the mistakes and called to make the corrections the result would have been having to cancel a public performance for 100's of people. This may have cost me well over $1000 in damages to my business, an unknown amount of money and time for the bar and banquet hall who provided us the venue, and 100's of hours of work. I'm shocked I was not compensated for the mistakes or provided anything resembling a reasonable excuse as to why there was such massive confusion over such a simple transaction. As far as I could tell based on what I was told, the mistakes were not made by the people at the business I had face to face contact with, but rather by people elsewhere connected to the uhaul company via the web.
