U-Haul waited until day before rental to adjust location 30+ miles away. U-Haul then notified on day of rental, time of rental was adjusted to later. These last minute adjustments disrupted pre-arranged labor for moving. Walked into establishment, smelled of stale beer with beer bottles, beer cans, and mixed drink cans laying throughout. I had to holler and announce my presence before an intoxicated representative came from back to assist me. Representative was slurring words in English to me and Spanish on phone to whoever he was engaged in a personal phone call with. Representative required utilization of desk to remain upright. I asked representative to adjust billing credit card. He was unable to do so, though he told me billing method was updated. Would NEVER utilize this location for U-HAUL or any other services again.

I can't think of a thing to improve your service. The people at Latin Barber Shop were most helpful on a short notice, and very accommodating when we needed more time to complete our move. Very impressed with their professionalism.
BARRY MUhaul was dirty in the box and cabin. Hair strand in cup holder. Debris in the box. Had to explain it to the drop off place that it was dirty. Place did not tell me uhaul will be texting me a link so I can do a check list of damage etc. Found damage on the side of truck.
Yee MTried charging for bogus fuel, environmental fee, and cleaning costs. Rented a Uhaul. He asked me to wait an hour to pick it up and he could "work on the price". I agreed but he never did anything for the price. At pick up I noticed that the fuel was between ¾ & ⅞ tank and texted him. He said "Okay, I'll fix that" but then charged a cleaning fee & 6 gallons of fuel. He literally must have placed 1 stick in the back of the truck and took a photo as evidence of why he needed to clean and charge. The Uhaul rep I spoke to even laughed about it, it was so obvious. Sent the rep pics of the convo where I notified the dealer of the low fuel at pick up and got my refund, including an extra environmental fee they accidentally charged.
AMY EThe truck was clean, however it had transmission issues. You'd step on the gas and the engine would race like crazy but it didn't move. Then it would jerk and slowly move forward. As for asking if I'd recommend this location? What a stupid question! U Haul doesn't allow anyone to choose where they want to pick up a truck so why would I recommend a location?!?!? This crap of telling people where they can and cannot rent trucks then changing plans the day of is just BS. We should have received a discount for all the inconveniences. And then we drive by a dealership in Plymouth, which would be very convenient for us, and see a dozen trucks sitting there, but get told oh no you can't rent those, they're just for local rentals... Not one way rentals... Just rude..
