Trailer lights wouldn't work. Was stopped in Concord after weigh station pass. Showed trooper they were hooked up. He recommended that I turn the park lights on the car I was towing.

First, have an agent that is aware of the attitude that she or he is projecting. Instead of commenting before you hear what your customer's needs are, listen affectively. This is your greatest gift as a customer service rep. Also, when the charge on the website say one thing, don't surprise the customer with another price or charge after the truck has been returned. I was charged an additional .30 per mile for mileage and was told before I rented the truck it was .89, but ended up paying 1.19. I rent trucks a lot for the job I do. This will be the last time I rent a truck from U-Haul. Got better service from Penske and I will continue using them.

When I reserved online I opted for face to race pickup. No one was there when I got there. I called and was verbally told which truck to take. Told the keys we're in the glove box. Was then told the combination to the shed and was told to pick out 10 blankets I reserved for my move. Had no one there to review the truck with me for damages prior to leaving nor confirmation of starting mileage and gas gauge. No signing of contract prior to taking truck off lot. Found out the next day when I was returning vehicle that this is not standard procedure.

This location was a bit hard to find because Google maps takes you to the wrong location. It would be great if you all could arrange to put a sign out by the main road. Fortunately, I was able to get good verbal directions when I called.

I had mechanical/ battery issues with one of the trucks. It prevented me from using during the planned day. Customer service kindly assisted with the repair however they never responded when I requested one day credit for the lack of use. Please advise. Thanks.

no one was there to help hook up the trailer...........the uhaul personnel had to call "a friend" to help with that. the telephone number on the uhaul building connects incorrectly with century link telephone service. the uhaul person ATTEMPTED to send copies of the contract, but the info was send in a strange format that COULD NOT BE OPENED. upon return of the trailer, AGAIN NO UHAUL PERSON was present to help unhook the trailer. as far as dealing with businesses in general, this was absolutely the WORST EXPERIENCE i have ever had. this uhaul franchise needs to have their ticket pulled AND CLOSED DOWN!!!!!

I experience some difficulties when returning the vehicle. The online returning process would not except my location. I had to spend 45 minutes trying to return the vehicle! Subsequently, I was able to call someone (U-Haul) who enable me to complete the return.

My pickup time was 12:00 pm, but I didn't get my truck and car trailer until 1:15 pm because no one was there when I got there. I had to wait until 12:50 pm just to be told no one was coming. If it weren't for Shelbie ( the Uhaul representative on the phone) walking me through my rental and making sure I hooked up the trailer correctly, I would've still been waiting until someone could actually come to the store. Very poor management. The customer should never have to wait over an hour and do the work themselves. And to top it off the AC didn't work.


Proprietors were very helpful, trusting, and friendly. All business was conducted over the phone and they even allowed me to use moving equipment on short notice. Great service!
