Make sure the vehicles (regardless of size) come back with a minimum of 3/4 of a tank of gas. It's not acceptable to get into a 26' foot truck with no gas in the tank. If that's not possible, then the company needs to amend it rental policy and discount the difference between what the cost is from the actual recorded gas level (amount) and the cost to fill up to the 3/4 gas level (amount). You already know that renters NEVER use a full tank of gas and even if they do, they normally put some fuel in the tank.
