The truck had no air conditioning. It was not clean. I wait in line for about 30 minutes to pay. I still don't know what u owe. 50 miles was supposed to be charged but I barely did 15 miles. I was frustrated but I appreciate that they rented to me on short notice

I understand that the people at this location aren't uhaul employees and that they're simply a ‘dealer' of sorts. With this said, however, they do represent uhaul. I make this distinction because if I managed uhaul, I would reconsider if I wanted these people representing my company. The people that I dealt with during my truck pickup were extremely disorganized which lead me to getting my truck late. Then after returning my truck, I received an email with a final receipt which was inaccurate. When I called them on the phone to discuss the receipt, they were extremely rude. Rude to the point that I almost hung up on them and called uhaul directly. It took a whole other day to finally get a refund. Again, if I were uhaul, I would really look into this location and ask if they should represent the company. If it were up to me, I would stop doing business with this location. Just a recommendation.

Inside of trailer dirty. One wheel had screw in it. No help in hookup or unhook. People nice but somewhat disorganized. Trailer was going back out without tire repair

Lake Erie Lawn and Garden was perfect and helpful. It was the Uhaul customer service people and that whole experience which was totally unacceptable. I have shared my concerns with them in an email to uhaul.


Supposed to be a fast easy pick up but that app wasn't working so I had to go inside which took longer than expected. I have been charged twice for the rental now I have to take the time to fix this.


The truck did the job it was intended to do. The truck needs some work for sure though. It has some leaks, it's dented and shakes pretty bad on highway. Also, I was not charged the correct mileage and awaiting word back on resolution to that. The facility folks were very nice though.


The wiring harness was frayed and they didn't offer a replacement trailer or offer to find one somewhere nearby. I used the trailer w/o the lights or my truck fuses would have been blown.


Excellent customer service, because she had to make up for the deficiencies in the U-Haul app. Not only would it not recognize photos and driver's license, it took FOUR attempts to load. I spent over 30 minutes at the location, so that they could straighten things out. Next time, I'll just deal with the helpful people there directly, and make a reservation on the website, not the app. Now I understand why it has 2.5 stars.

there was no one available to help us ensure we had the trailer hooked up right, No one came out to look everything over once we did. the woman working said she didn't know anything about hooking the trailer up. If you are renting equipment you should have someone available who knows how to use it.

Complete the vehicle return in a timely fashion. I returned the vehicle at about 9:50am, but the associate entered my return time as 12:03pm. I think I should not have been charged for a 2nd day, since I was only about 50 minutes beyond 24 hours.

The representatives were about as unprofessional as it gets. No clear signage or explanation as to where to park so I parked in an empty space in the parking lot. Got my rental and drive to do what I rented it for. When I drop it back off, as they were closing, there's a note on my car telling me my car would be towed if I parked there again. As I was trying to figure out what to do with the dolly, a last was standing out front and told me I could set it inside the door. I open the door to it inside and a guy barks at me that they're closed. I told him she said I could put the dolly inside and left. NEVER will I go back to that location... For ANYTHING.

I had trouble finding the key drop box


The trucks front end would shake like crazy over bumps or just going down the turnpike..the drivers side mirror would start bouncing like a basketball while you were driving

The lot is small and hard to park in. We were charged an “after-hours” fee for the trailer even though there was a person inside the office. Another customer knocked o. The door and handed her the keys to a van. But, we didn't need her assistance. I'm sure it is probably in the fine print, but the staff should tell customers UPFRONT about the after hours 24.95 charge. I don't understand why we was charged because we had turned the vehicle in on day one instead of day 3 like it was rented. Not happy about that fee.

Even with the computers down from an overnight storm and the usual Saturday morning crunch, the counter personnel improvised with their personal cellphones to get everyone serviced. Great job.

Personnel are not competent or knowledgeable. Their connection to the internet was not functioning and many people were screwed, with no Plan B in place for their web being down. The male person in the store was rude. I was able to get my truck by using the UHaul app. Our truck was beautiful, nearly new and ran well. But I would not use Lake Erie Lawn and Garden again for anything.

All good. The process online was easy. Service at store was good. The only thing I wish I knew in advance was when drops F off the van after hours you need to take a picture of the mileage and gas gauge when trying to check out online after hours. I put the keys in the drop box and then went online to checkout. The clerk at the store took care of it for me the next morning so all is good. Just wish I knew this in advance. Thanks!


There was no one at pick up location who could help me hook up the trailer or make sure it was done properly. The attendant did not tell me that I needed eye loops on the bumper to hook up emergency chains. I went to another U-Haul location in the same town to ask them to look at my hook up (when I learned I needed eye hooks on my bumper for chains). This attendant said I shouldn't have been allowed off the lot before installing the proper equipment on my bumper to receive the trailer's emergency hooks. The pick up attendant said people bungee strap the chains to the tow bar and not use them, which can't possibly be the best practice.
