Spent over an hour and half getting vehicle. Agent made errors getting me out the door. Manager had to step in and fix. Payment problems also due to a system error using incorrect billing address for my credit card.

I went to a site a it was closed because of corporate closing. I went to another site 30 miles away. But could not return it to the site that I originally made my reservation at. It was it big inconvenience but I told that I couldn't get any discounts or compensation for the inconveniences. I know that there's alot issues in the country these days, but a customer shouldn't feel overwhelmed by trying to make a deadline and realize that all might be lost because I didn't get notice in ample time to make other arrangements for my pickup. So I'm really not pleased with what I encountered today. And think there should be a refund of my money or compensation for your neglect of not notifying me that I would not be able to get the vehicle when I arrived.
Very small location, horrible parking! Every uhaul location in the area that weekend was completely backed up, systems down etc..... This was a pretty bad experience as I dropped the trailer off but was never able to"close"out my contract because of their system issues. I was still owed a deposit of $44. which I sure hope I do receive ......

This location is an absolute disaster of epic proportions. When I arrived the truck size I requested was not available, but the size was available under different terms (which I was not able to select) so I was not allowed the $50 reservation guarantee. The location upgraded me to a larger vehicle but that wouldn't be back for 30 minutes so I was made to wait. I started the pickup process but the gentleman checking me in took other customers so I was made to start over with a new person who gave me attitude when I asked why I had to start over. This person changed my 24 hour rental to a 4.5 hour rental and thus I was charged for two days when I returned it after hours. I was also charged an after hours fee so my bill went from about $40 to over $80, I was not made aware of the after hours fee. How is an after hours fee justified when no one is there to receive it after the close of business? The individual checking it in does it during scheduled business hours and with no extra work than if I brought it in during business hours so how is an after hours charge justified? It is not and I think it is ridiculous and pitiful to make an attempt for free money. I returned to the location the next day after being charged the full amount and the girl behind the counter was of no help and informed me that there was no one there who could help me and that what I wanted was "beyond my pay grade." First, what company in the world approves of their employees saying that? Second, why is no one there during all business hours to handle any and all issues? To me that tells me that a company does not respect nor fully care for their customers. I had to call the customer service number, as I was instructed to by the young lady who couldn't help me because "it's beyond my pay grade" who took my complaint but told me I had to speak to that location's general manager for refunds. If that is the case then why did the young lady direct me to that phone number? She clearly is not properly trained if she is making customers take extra, unnecessary steps in trying to resolve issues. The customer service number gentleman told me he would have the general manager of this location call me back. The general manager called back and left a voicemail as I was unavailable, I called her back shortly thereafter and was told the general manager just left and they would have her call me back. She never called back. In fact I gave her about a week, called back, and no one answered the phone. I then called back to the customer service number and they contacted the general manager, within minutes they had a resolution and refunded part of my charges. Not once did I ever get to speak with the general manager yet she answered the customer service number's call so efficiently? I find this location to be poorly managed and a disappointment to the U-Haul name. The only reason I came to this location because the equipment I needed was not available at my usual location. The whole experience of checking out and checking in was very smooth.
The roll up door would stick about 1/4 way open when opening and closing. I'm 6'2â€ and 250lbs. It was almost impossible for me to force it the rest of the way. I doubt a smaller person would be able to do that. The pick up location has no other units to swap into so I followed the advice of the clerk and â€œput some ass into itâ€.

I was told there would be pads and a dolly to use in the back of the truck butcwhenni got to my destination the truck bed was empty. I would have used them if they were there. If your going to tell your customer there is something there for their use you should verify so they not dissapointed.
