They can improve customer service with movinghelpers. I rented my truck days before with additional help for loading and unloading. I picked my moving company and paid for 2 movers for 3 hours. The money was taken out of my account the same day and I was sent a confirmation email. On the email there was a note stating that the movers will contact me before the move. I was never contacted nor was I given a number to contact them. The day of the move the Uhual worker was unable to figure out what happened to my movers. We called the moving helper number and I was told that they canceled my reservation because they felt the address was incorrect. The address wasn’t incorrect and this was unacceptable. I recieved no call to even confirm if the address was ok. This is not ok. Terrible customer services! The agent offered to rebook my movers. She made a new reservation and gave me the number to call them. My reservation started at 9am and now due to this problem created the whole moving experience was terrible!!!! When I called the company I was told the movers are not available until 2pm!!! Unacceptable!!! So now I being charged again to now have to wait five hours for movers. I had to now cancel my reservation then find other reliable help. Now I must wait for my money to come back into my account. Worst experience ever!

I was told to “use the app” while another customer who arrived after me was helped in person. If everyone was required to use the app, that would be fair — but singling out one customer is not. When I asked to speak with the manager because I found that unfair, I was told the manager wouldn’t want to speak to me and would just tell me to go somewhere else. If an owner or manager refuses to speak to paying customers, they should not be in business. This is a service-based industry — respect and fairness are non-negotiable. There are plenty of other U-Haul locations, and customers will take their business elsewhere. Value your customers, or lose them.
