Your website and app are absolutely terrible. When I reserved a U-Haul, there was no indicator of any sort that I would be reserving a "local only" truck, meaning I would have to return it to the same location I rented it from. Only after going to pick up the truck was I informed of this. Because this was a Sunday rental, there were no customer service reps available to help me and there was no phone number I can call to get assistance posted anywhere obvious. Finally, when I went to pay for the truck, the app would not accept my stored CC number so we had to use my wifes card to pay. She was charged, but a hold was then ALSO PLACED ON MY ACCOUNT for the originally estimated cost of the truck. I have no idea when this ridiculous hold is coming off. I plan to write a terrible review on Yelp and Google and will never use U-Haul again. Awful customer experience. Shameful.

The customer service was excellent but the only thing is that when I was given the forms stating that the fuel was on full and actually checked the fuel gage and found that it was between full and 3 quarter tank full. I didn't go back in to get the adjustment because I was on a time limit to try to get my house moved on time due to I had to move on my own. Other then that things were great.....

I am unhappy with how my credit card was handled. There are 3 separate holds against the same card. $1, $94, and $105. Not sure why but I tried to remedy the situation yesterday but received limited assistance.

The drop off location has their hours posted indicating that they close at 3pm on Saturdays. I pulled up to the gate, in their parking lot rather than park because it was 2:55pm. I could see a woman in the office behind the counter when I pulled up. Once I exited the vehicle, I saw her walk into the back. She was never seen again. I knocked, to no avail. Walked to the side and knocked on the windows, to no avail. I called the 800# and spoke with a representative, who stated that the location has a drop box for keys. I was advised to leave the vehicle and told that it was notated in my contract that the vehicle was returned on Saturday. However, on Monday, I was charged $86.40 for having the vehicle 2 extra days. I called the #800 in order to speak with someone and get this resolved, as I have just moved to a new city and had limited funds. They advised me to go to the store where I dropped the truck off so that they could refund the money to my card. When I got to the store, a woman behind the counter was being combative with the customer she was dealing with. Once she was finished I explained the situation and told her that there were extensive notes based on the last person I had spoken with. She was rude and dismissive and told me she couldn't issue any type of refund. The person I had spoken with also provided me with the phone number for the area field manager. I called that number and was able to speak with yet a third representative, who let me know that there were very detailed noted regarding this situation and she was going to contact the area field manager to let him know the urgency of this matter. The AFM called me back and left a voicemail stating he was going to issue a refund for the $86.40 but it might take 3-5 days for it to go through. In the meantime, I am in a new city, with my account overdrawn thanks in part to my card being wrongfully charged by UHAUL.
