1) They didn't have the hand truck I needed. 2) The Wifi was horrible, making the transaction take 10x longer than it should. 3) I specifically requested a transaction with a live person, as opposed to doing everything on my phone, because I THOUGHT it would go faster. All the agent did was hand me a tablet, so how is that different than doing it on my phone?

Truck had only about 1/3 tank of fuel. Cargo area was not swept out. Engine light came on during use. Business staff would only use online check in/check out and was not helpful. This is easily the worst U-Haul rental experience I have ever had

Patrick MDropped off after hours 1/24/2026. Process was easy and convenient.
CONTESSA RI had to pay a gas fee, even though we only went a total of about 8 miles going down the road and bringing it back all in total. But the last person didn’t fill up all the way and somehow I had to pay a fee. Also, they had left trash opening up the back of the truck. It was pretty decent though. Drove well even for the snow!
