This was farther away than the location I selected, giving me a lot more driving the morning of my move. It was completely unclear upon arrival how to get a truck. I tried the app and a QR code, didn't work. Eventually I went into the convenience store on the corner and turns out that was how to do it. Truck wasn't ready - I had to move around the blankets and dolly myself. Before leaving, I got a notification that Uhaul wanted me to enable access to my location and camera on my phone to verify the equipment -- NO WAY. It is unacceptable to require customers to do this. You should pay the staff or contractors that you need in order to verify your equipment and pick ups. I will not give you access to my personal phone to do so. Additionally, I intended to purchase boxes the morning when I picked up the truck, but arrived to realize it was not a Uhaul location so I couldn't purchase any supplies. Quite frustrating.

ANTONIO GThe trucks are not maintained, the battery flashed on the dashboard within 30 minutes of picking it up and died the following morning. There’s no way this issue just started. The trucks are also parked in awkward spots within a small parking lot next to a small street making it difficult to get out. The key drop box is inaccessible. They put a combination lock and do not provide the code to customers or to U-Haul staff so it is impossible to leave the keys overnight.
