The truck was not there at 11:30 am. After phone calls and confusion the truck apparently was returned an hour late. The Movers were paid for an hour when I had no truck. The movers were ready and being paid and when the truck came there were no dollies no blankets. Absolutely nothing. I had paid for an appliance dolly to move a washing machine. That wasn’t able to be moved. The movers had their own dolly and with one dolly it took two hours just to unload the furniture and put it in the house. Not put it away but in the house. They had also waited an additional hour because there was no truck so I just appreciated the fact that my furniture is coming in at all. I was not able to speak to someone when your truck was returned and I have had no refund of my deposit. I have had no contact with U-Haul with all of these problems going on. Absolutely nothing. Absolutely not anything. I should add that this was the fourth time I had booked through U-Haul and U-Haul labor over the last six weeks. The previous three moves schedule never called never showed up. I could not reach them. I paid for the labor, but then when it was canceled, I didn’t get my money back for three or four days and I was not able to pay for two virtual moves at once. This just was an absolutely dreadful experience all the way around and I’m very very surprised. Very surprised. This is U-Haul after all.

William PThis was farther away than the location I selected, giving me a lot more driving the morning of my move. It was completely unclear upon arrival how to get a truck. I tried the app and a QR code, didn't work. Eventually I went into the convenience store on the corner and turns out that was how to do it. Truck wasn't ready - I had to move around the blankets and dolly myself. Before leaving, I got a notification that Uhaul wanted me to enable access to my location and camera on my phone to verify the equipment -- NO WAY. It is unacceptable to require customers to do this. You should pay the staff or contractors that you need in order to verify your equipment and pick ups. I will not give you access to my personal phone to do so. Additionally, I intended to purchase boxes the morning when I picked up the truck, but arrived to realize it was not a Uhaul location so I couldn't purchase any supplies. Quite frustrating.
