I’m writing because I don’t understand why I was charged $500 for a trailer I had in my possession for less than 24 hours. That price feels completely out of line with the length of the rental, and nothing in the process made it clear I’d be paying that much for such a short window of use. I’d genuinely like an explanation of how this total was calculated, and a breakdown of every charge. If any portion of it is a mistake or an unnecessary add-on, I’d expect it to be refunded. As it stands, this doesn’t feel like fair value, and it’s left me hesitant to rent from U-Haul again.
