It was well maintained but definitely not clean. It was filthy to be honest. I thought is was 19.95 for 24 hour rental but I was charged about $150. I’m not sure exactly how that works. I was able to accomplish what I needed. No complaints. Van was great size and fun to drive.

I worked for U-Haul Corporate for 9-years between 1986-1995. I have always been faithful to U-Haul throughout my moving needs. Drop off of the U-Box in CA was SOLID. I called in advance of the delivery drop since I didn't know how narrow the roads were to get here. It worked well. Thank you very much. While it's been a long time and I remember John (JT) Taylor; please send this on and let him know that one former Purcell absolutely appreciated this very long-distance relocation. U-Haul was the least of my worries "by far". It's a team. THANK YOU ALL!!!

The only improvement would be having the vehicle gas tank full upon pick up. They requested I refill the tank to the level it was when I picked it up, but the level was a somewhat random level a little under half a tank, so it was challenging to add the exact amount of gas to bring it back to that level. Otherwise perfect!

I had an excellent truck that was new and in great condition. The best rental I have ever had. Really liked the fact the wheel wells were removed from the inside of the box.

We needed a trailer to haul a trike that is 5' x 10' so we rented a 6'x12' trailer. When we got to the trike location and tried to load the trike, we damaged the fender of it because your 6'x12' trlr DOES NOT have a 6' wide opening! We called uhaul and tried to get a bigger trailer located in Walnut Creek where the trike was being picked up from. They did not have one and would not accept the one we rented from Seaside. So we had to borrow another trailer to haul the trike. Bottom line, we spent $47. For nothing. Uhaul customer service is poor and we should have been reimbursed for this rental. We told you we needed a trailer to haul a 5'x10' trike and you gave us a trailer that had too small an opening causing damage to our trike.

Clerk gave me keys pointed out where the truck was and walked away not very helpful. Far from my requested location. I incurred additional gas cost on my own car back and forth and, for the truck I rented, additional 1/4 gas to get to the storage unit. That is a hidden cost.

The location was convenient for our move. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The only problem was that the AC in the 10' box truck we rented did not work - after moving during a Monterey Bay heatwave, that was a bit hard to endure!

The truck had mud splashed on the doors that I hosed off. The windshield was dirty and the drivers wiper blade almost came off. And the emergency brake release lever was really loose. The truck seemed to shift harshly too.

I have been a U-haul customer for many years. The U-haul located at 2330 Del Monte has been consistently excellent at providing trucks, equipment and supplies. The staff provides consistently excellent service as well.

The delivery date was changed at least 5 times by U-Haul with little to no notice. It was very frustrating; more than once I rearrange my schedule to be home for the delivery, only to have it canceled and rescheduled with absolutely no warning or explanation. I talked to several U-Haul representatives and no one knew anything, I was also given conflicting information by different U-Haul employees. I ended up losing an entire day of work at a job I just started dealing with all this. I expected much better given how much I paid.

My trailer had nearly bald tires when we departed. These wound up blowing out twice while on the road resulting in 3 hours of waiting on the side of busy highways. We also had a third replaced before it blew out because it had exposed threads.

You can strat off by coming up with a protocol for when a rental isn’t returned in time! I reserve a 6x12 cargo trailer, was given a time for pick up at 1:15pm. When I arrived, the guys working, had no clue that the trailer I was picking up, hadn’t been returned yet. Long story short, I had to settle for utility trailer. The time wasted set me behind schedule , I had no choice but to extend my reservation. The whole ordeal was unprofessional and a major inconvenience.

I maintained, old van. Check engine light on. Ran rough, brakes squealed. Bad shocks and steering wandered. Rude and uncaring people working in the store. Will definitely use Enterprise or Penske next time

I have been using U-Haul at the Del Monte location since 2020. My experience has always been excellent with the employees and the equipment. Staff is courteous, helpful and efficient. Pricing on packing materials and vehicle rentals are reasonable given the location. I will continue to use this location for my moving truck and materials needs.

Everything went well except they did not have the appliance dolly we needed. We managed without it because I hired 3 movers. But the truck was perfect and the staff was very helpful. Going with UHaul ended up saving me $17,000. I originally planned to go with Begins. My wife and I are in our 70’s. Moving sucks.

Honestly!! I've given this U-Haul location lots of business, I'm now going elsewhere! The past two times your Monterey store didn't have right mileage to what was on my receipt, and this time the gas gauge read same amount I left with and that was on my receipt upon returning, but before checking truck in, I had asked a U-Haul customer service person ibefore turning 10' foot truck in he said it was 4 gallons short which didn't make sense for 30 local miles driven, then other Customer service person logged in a different gas reading on my receipt when it was close to 1/2 tank.

We have been renting the same U Haul every year for years for anual family camping trip and have loved the empolyees and been treated great...We always bring it back on time this time we were a little late as we had to unload with only one person helping. They charged us for a whole nother day. I thought that was very wrong.

My U boxes are still in transit, so I answered yes about the question about if my items have arrived safely yet. But that remains to be seen. My only complaint was that I uploaded a map of the mobile home park onto your site but neither one of the drivers seem to have seen it. Google Maps does not have the addresses correct so the map would have been very helpful to both drivers if they had somehow seen it

Poor promises made and then unfulfilled until pressured. Finally received my UBox today 8/24 from 7/28. Repeatedly charged for service not received. The managers finally got billing and box to me.
