My original request was approved to pickup in Prattville AL. Then i got changed to pickup in Montgomery AL.

I am highly disappointed in the price I paid for using the equipment for the time I had it. No one told me I could rent the equipment at a cheaper price. I guess the more you can charge a customer the better for your business. If need a service of this kind in the near future I will not choose U Haul, simply because I wasn't offered an option of more reasonable rates. I called customer service in reference to the price, because I assumed I would receive monies back if I returned the equipment before it was due back. The customer service representative could only offer an apology, well that didn't help me I was out of money for a two day rental and I wasn't told I was renting the equipment for two days nor was I asked if I needed the rental for two days. The price I paid was way too much.

Owner was mean and unreasonable. We had already pre-paid and when we arrived at his location, (3 locations later), he would not release the equipment to us unless we paid him even after showing paid receipt. Took about an hour on the phone with U Haul to straighten this out.

The problem that I had was not in picking up the rental but it was the online booking process and customer service at the 800 number. I booked online a day prior to my pickup and I was allowed to choose the location that I wanted to pickup at. At no time in the booking process was I notified that the location I selected, was closed. I arrived the next morning ahead of time to pickup the rental only to discover that the UHAUL location was no longer there. I mmediately call the 800 number because I was pressed for time and needed to rental to make deliveries for Charity. The 800 number informed me that the location I selected was a suggestion and not set in stone. That was the most idiotic response that I have EVER HEARD. I work in IT, so I understand the importance of updating info on a website. Furthermore, why would the website provide a reservation confirmation if the location I selected was tentative. While trying to get assistance on the phone, I received a text from the location that was 10+ miles from my current UHAUL where I should now pickup my rental. On the way to pick up the rental, there were 4 other UHAL locations that I stopped by and could have easily been routed to but was not. Still on the phone, I was transferred to another support person and I have to re-give her all the information that I had provided to the first person. She was very unaccommodating and I asked for a manager to be compensated for my inconvenience ans I was told that there was not one. If I don't hear back from someone, I WILL NOT BE USING UHAUL again and I will inform all my fiends, associates, and business colleagues to so the same!!!!
