There should be 2 people working to help the customers. We had a pick up time of 2:45 we got there at 2:25 but didnt leave until about 3:20 due to only one person working.

I picked up the truck with less than a full tank. I drove it 14 miles for the day and went I went to go fill it up at the end of the day it took 6.5 gallons. When I dropped it off and told them what happen the person working had no explanation as to why but did give me credit for my cost to full. I wonder how many people they do that to and try to get away with it, wont use them again

I want to make clear....The person who helped me unload the trailer was nice and professional. However My previous visit to this location in Montgomery , was a different story. (A different person at that time ) I was made to feel like I was bothering and taking his time trying to rent a trailer. So I went to the Naperville location. They were fine.

As part of our rental, we asked for a dozen furniture blankets. We only got 6 but we were still charged for 12.

The only issue we had was attempting to pick up the vehicle using the app. After three failed attempts, the person cleaning the trucks was nice enough to open the location early so she could get up going. Had she not been there, we would have been stuck and unable to meet the person we were buying furniture from.

I felt mislead when I agreed to adding on furniture pads. I was extremely clear what I needed the pads for... I was moving from my house into a storage facility and I would not be returning them. The guy quoted me $10 for two packages of some felt pads. I agreed. When I returned that afternoon to return the truck, a different gentleman asked me for the pads. I explained everything that happened that morning and he more or less told me that’s not how the system works. That I needed to return them that day. I told him that’s impossible. They are wrapped around furniture in a storage unit. He said he will have to upcharge me again for not returning the pads. I told him the guy in the morning said it wouldn’t be a problem but He was unwilling to even listen to me, he literally avoided conversation with me and talked over me to tell me I will be charged anyway.

It never ceases to amaze me how bad the customer service is at every uhaul location i rent from. I feel like i am at the DMV each time and the attitude toward customer's boarders on hostile. This visit i was told by the employee at the counter, that my car was parked in the wrong area, and i would need to move it before he could help me. Got it...then one of the employees pulls up in a personal car and parks to go in when i was moving mine. Then the guy who hooked up my trailer was smoking while by hatch was open exposing my family to his cigarette smoke. Unbelieveable.

At the end of the day, I needed a service to be provided. They accomplished that. However, the first trailer didn’t pass the light test and the second trailer had a padlock locked on it. We only noticed the lock on the trailer an hour after we picked it up when we got it home. Had to go the whole way back to have it cut off. Very frustrating. The store associate assured me that they’d discount the reservation for the issue with the lock, but there was nothing discounted on my final return receipt.
