Not sure my complaint is with the pick-up location but with U-Haul overall. Made my reservation using the U-Haul app. I reserved a pick-up in Monticello,MN and drop off in Forest Lake, MN, about 70 miles apart. I received an email that stated my truck pick-up site was in Kimball, MN the day before I was supposed to pick up the truck. The Monticello location doesn’t allow one-way rentals. Kimball is located about 35 miles away from Monticello. Why did U-Haul allow me to schedule one-way from Monticello? I had to change my reservation to return the truck to Monticello. This cost additional $100 due to mileage and in gas. What was supposed to $200 rental/gas, ended up costing $410 in mileage and fuel.
