I am not comfortable with the threat of severe penalties if the truck is returned with any debris. My understanding is that if the clerks are to clean the truck following use, a surcharge will be levied. Why? I would expect, in part, the fees I pay are for the truck to be cleaned. Also, $0.49/Km is exorbitant! Discount rentals is 1Km away.

The agent wasn’t nice nor welcoming, I felt like I was bothering him, and I didn’t take the insurance he wasn’t pleased by that and made sure I felt it, some customer service would have been nice instead of all the attitude

The employee who attend me was rude. I feel disappointed I dont want to come back to avoid the customer employee interaction. The employee tried to overcharge for gas. Uhaul show train their employees how to treat customers. I don’t feel like coming back.

The employees at Uhaul de St Jacques were fantastic but the website booking is an unmitigated disaster. I received a reservation confirmation email with a time and location different from my request. I called that facility to find out why my booking had been changed (35 minutes on hold) and although they had a confirmed reservation in my name in their system they claimed it came from the website and they couldn't fulfill the truck size or the time I needed. After another 25 minutes on hold with customer service they finally told me my original reservation location of St Jacques with the correct time and size had also been confirmed in their system, but that the website had generated an incorrect email confirmation. For a business that caters to a market of people who are mostly MOVING they are causing us a lot of unnecessary stress on what is already a hellish type of day.

The employees themselves were *excellent*. I say excellent because they are clearly overworked and understaffed. While renting a vehicule isnt a ten-minute affair, i its crazy to spend 30 minutes just waiting to see a clerk. Please, during peak times (end/beginning of the month), have more staff available. Also, to have to put in 25$ worth of gas in a truck that went no more than 35KM (with an empty load! as it turns out, what we had to move wasnt available so the truck was *empty*, no load caused excess fuel consumption) is absolutely ridiculous. Your trucks are dated, feel like they are going to fall apart (the transmission kept upshifting while we were driving at the same speed 40km/hr on a flat surface), and are horribly inefficient on fuel. While the cab was clean, the trucks themselves feel like death on wheels. Also, the after hours check-in with a phone isnt exactly the best way because not everyone has a phone (or a charged phone) at the moment of returning the van. We dropped it off 2 hours after renting it and got home to "return it" via the website and were in a panic because we couldnt figure out how to bypass the pictures of the interior/fuel guage, Go back to the good ol ways and have a registry outside or something. Have each person have a specific code to them/their rental so you know it was brought back and not someone falsifying a return.

Excellent! J’ai aimé Uhaul. Le service était rapide et le concepte est intéréssant. Cependant je n’ai pas aimé l’attitude du staff au 7350 Boulevard St. Anne de Bellevue. Ma réservation était prévue pour samedi 18h et je suis arrivé à 18h04. J’ai entendu un des staffs dire “I fucking hate people who come last minute”. Apart cela, bien joué Uhaul, mais revoyez l’attitude de certains de vos employés.

The truck that we reserved was not available as it was supposed to and we rented a pick up to replaced it. It change our plan and it take us more time to move our stuff. If you reserved a specific truck to a client, be sure that it will be available st the time please. Thank you ( excuse my english, i’m french). Manon

Sorry to say Two agent were alone with me in the st jacques location. No other clients were there, they both make made me wait 15 mins to return a truck. While one was placing merchandise the other counting his cash money. When i asked to be served they both ignored me.. When i asked again 5 mins later they responded that one agent had finished his shift... The other said with bitterness that he was busy and to wait. Terrible attitude and lack of customer care. I usualy am very satisfied with the service, I think i might have walk in on a argement between them, lots of tension in the air? The agent that served me was eventualy helpful and less rude. The person who dose the inspection for return was really un-professional, he has a very bad attitude to talk to the customer!!! He was asking me to put $40+ for gas for a trip of 44 km. Long story short, in the end, he realize, he made a mistake and if I wasn't there, he will charge me an other $28 for some fees !!!

Everything was good over all, there was just à mistake in the km of car. It was marked 1014 in the contract but when we checked the car it was 1015. They mentioned that it will be corrected later and the clerk marked it in the paper Contract by pen but finally he forgot to do the correction in the final calculation.
