Workers were respectful and fair...however, cold and dry. When I went to return the van, I had to way around 30 minutes, because there was only one worker and he wans't the fastest. To be fair, he apologized for the waiting...but I almost lost an appointment at work. In general, I am satisfied with the service and prices.

1. The truck was not well maintained. 2. Your employee at this location showed me the gas tank at the edge of 1/4 and he explained that's its 3/8. I told him I will return it exactly the same level I am taking it and he said okay. When I returned the truck at higher level than I took, you charged me for 17$ extra plus tax for fuel. I do not accept this charge and I kindly ask a refund for this extra charge including the taxes.

The windows of the truck I rent were quite dirty (Inside) and since my rental was for an evening moving, it was quite unpleasant. Stop pushing for the sale of the insurance if the client says that he is covered with his insurance. It is annoying having to argue with your representative that continuously repeting that I am not covered since I did call my insurance in front of him ...

had some difficulty getting this location to accept the vehicle as the contract specified another drop off location that was very far from my home. Had to call the regional office to have the vehicle accepted at above location resulting in a 40 minute wait to complete the transaction. Not very happy with U-Haul at the time.

L’employer Et le gérant ! Vraiment déçus du service ... il m’on chargé des frais retard , Mais m’avais dit si je rapportait le camion le matin c’était pas grave . En plus l’employer était avec une personne quand j’ai louer le camion , Et ce matin à jamais voulu l’avouer qui avais kk1 avec lui pour prouver qui m’avais dit c’était correcte pour rapporter le camion le matin. , le gérant pensait je mentais , Mais quand ont a louer le camion j’etait 4 a venir avec Moi ! Votre employer vraiment menteur ou vous joue dans dos Et le gérant déçus pas m’avoue crue Et m’a parler comme si jetait une marde !

The prices were not clearly indicated. While I can reasonably understand why extra charges would be applied for the days around July 1st moving day, this information seems to have been deliberately withheld. My estimated bill on pickup gave the rate $20/day plus distance charge, and I asked and was assured that no other fees would be applied. Later my credit card was billed a much higher rate and I received an updated receipt with an additional $120 charge "Revenus en Général". The national and provincial offices had no idea what it was, but the local office informed me that around moving day they charge $20/hour instead of /day. I can respect increasing prices during high demand, but I would appreciate seeing this clearly communicated in promotional material (both online and at the location) and on the contract that the customer signs at pickup.

U-Haul Ste Jacques was neither the pick-up nor drop-off location. Was not advised that proposed pick-up location in Ste. Agathe was no longer a dealer. Confusion for drop-off. Thought that closest dealer at Ste.Jacques was drop-off. They thought otherwise and would not accept truck. Was not advised that appliance trolley was not available at pick-up. Had to hunt around to another dealer for trolley. Was charged 46 cents for one additional mile. Really?

The officer didn't explain the details for the equipment that I rented like blankets and dolly. I didn't know that the blankets are for rent, when I left the truck in Markham office I paid $60 for blankets. Unprofessional staffs.

Truck was booked thru Lachine location. Had to pick-up at St.Jacques location which has a street address leading us to believe it was in another city. Please be very clear where the pick-up location is if you cannot bring the truck to the location was booked thru. We flew 1,800 miles to a large city we were not familiar with.

Jai eu une experience plutot difficile. Dune part, javais initiallement pris un camion "one way". Sans me le mentionne lendroit a ete changer pour un autre a plus de 40 min de distance (travaux turcot). Le fait que lendroit soit confirmer derniere minute, je peux comprebdre, cependant loraquon ma apeller pour xonfirmer lheure cela aurait ete bien de le mentionne. Deuxiemement on ma charger 34$ pour avoir retourner le camion "off hours" le garcon de la location ma dit que je devait le retourner avant 7h am le dimanche matin. Jamais un frais a ete mentionne. Pour ces raisons je ne recommenderai pas Uhaul a dautre malgre le prix interessant et je ne ferai plus affaire avec vous

Please, for the love of God, IMPLEMENT BILINGUAL SERVICE. You are located in one of the most Anglophone areas in Montreal. Your phones don't even give an option for English information. If I am correct, your company is American, so I do not see how hard it would be to find a script for your automated service in this language. Even when the information on the contract says "English" the invoice still comes out in French. Thirdly, the response I received when pointing it out was "Well, this is Quebec..." makes me believe I am not the only person who brings up this matter. It is ignorant and insulting to all Anglophones who live in this province. Your employees are exempt from this criticism, both people I dealt with were fantastic and it was a pleasure to deal with them. Your trucks are great, reliable and clean. This is the reason I choose to come back to you when I need to. Please take advice from someone who built her career in customer service- offer both languages. was phoned and informed of damage...it was excessive damage according to their person but was in fact a leave brush on a dirty top of the truck. They charged my CC without permission and after 3 weeks of run around from uhaul customer service..no progress. IMHO illegal operation and will never use UHAUL again, their ridiculous customer service phone lines with 8 holds etc is beyond infuriating!
