It wasn't clear there would be a charge for refuelling and if we do refuel it's hard to determine how much to refuel. So in the end we just paid. If there was a clear indication how much to refuel it would be nice. We were also first time user so we were a bit anxious on how using the Uhaul website will work for checkout. It would be good an email was sent to let us know how it work after you sign in. The email only told us to get to the location and sign in to the app. Only when I sign in it told me to turn in my gps but it took a long while for my gps to be on and the app keeps saying it's off. In the end I used my wife's phone where she had her gps on for a while and it worked. I think this part could be improved. Letting users know to turn in gps before signing in via an email or in the error message to tell the user that gps may take a few minutes before its detected or maybe a refresh option.

Le clÃ© du camion n'Ã©tait pas dans le casier comme prÃ©vue. Cette situation m'a causÃ© d'Ã©norme dÃ©sagrÃ©ment. Le service est vraiment mauvais. L'application ou site web ne fonctionnait pas sur mon Iphone. De plus, le service Ã la clientÃ¨le au tÃ©lÃ©phone ont tous la fÃ¢cheuse habitude de transfÃ©rer sans indiquer oÃ» sera transfÃ©rer l'appel. Beaucoup d'amÃ©lioration Ã faire.

When you order a u-haul it would be nice that the rental was what you ordered and not an upgrade at a increased price

This was not our preferred location and though it was only a 4 mile distance from our preferred location, it was a 45 minute drive in rush hour traffic. We also requested a 10' truck and received a 15' truck. I was told this was a "free upgrade", however it was too big and ended up costing us more in fuel. Though I realize that this has nothing to do with the location, and when I called Uhaul I was reminded that location of pick up and size of truck cannot be guaranteed. My main issue with this location was that I did not receive our invoice/price breakdown. I called Uhaul yesterday afternoon and they could not send it. I will have to call again today.

J'ai due m'organiser tout seul et payer $400.00 pour une clÃ© et j'ai perdu $500. d'honoraires. Pas ma meilleur journÃ©e et certainement pas une belle expÃ©rience avec U HAUL. Je vais recommander le garage mais pas U HAUL.

Knmake sure trucks are full so we do not have to guess how much gas is needed tobring itto same level or supply a litre guide per 8th or quarter of a tank.
The Truck had a severe smell of dogs. I was suffocating after 5 mins of driving. I made the booking online and didn't accept the insurance. When i went to the location, the gentlemen didn't review the contract with me and charged me the insurance anyway. He simply said the contract will be sent to the same email on file. I understand it was up to me to review the contract but i didn't expect the gentleman to change my booking options. I felt cheated. After i returned the truck , the total amount was much higher and that's when i questioned him to explain how it ended up to 65$. His explanation was that the website is malfunctioning and the insurance is not optional. I left from there and called U-Haul customer service and Melanie Poston helped me with the refund. I will be very careful if ever i need to use UHaul services again because Integrity is very valuable asset for any business. Thank you
When I received a call to confirm my reservation I was given another adress. The reservation location was changed without calling me to let me know. When we (uhaul employee and I) called to confirm the trailer was indeed there and tell him I was on my way the gentleman very rudely told us he had confirmed with me (not true) and that he would close in 15 minutes (30 minutes before his actual closing time and it would take me at least 30 minutes to get to him). I was told I would get a discount for the inconvenience which I never received. I will not recommend Uhaul to anyone who has to move, unfortunately this is not the first time I am disappointed by their service and I won't be using your company again

I was told the gas used equaled to a charge of $16 so I decided to fill it up at a gas station before closing the contract. Filled up with $12. When I went back I was told it wasn't full enough and a charge of $9 was added.
I made it clear to the clerk that I did not want insurance because my company is insured for any risk even for the commercial vehicles I use. The clerk told me that Uhaul's insurance was mandatory and that no insurance covered commercial vehicles. This is the second time in less than 6 months that this has happened to me, I am really disappointed. You should explain the real procedures to all your dealer because they want to get commissions on the insurance that customers pay at home !!!!
