Great customer service
AMY SManager was very polite and professional.
SHAUN HJames came out while I was nearly done with the mobile check-in for drop-off, and he barely replied to my greeting of good morning. That’s fine, whatever, to each their own, but he barely said a word to myself the entire time my boyfriend and I were there. He proceeded to watch me do the mobile check-in without saying a word to me, and performed a check-in himself on top of my mobile one (again without saying anything), and he also beat the UHaul rear tires (15”) with a wooden stick…which hopefully has some sort of purpose…Later, when we were 3-5 minutes down the road we get a call about the truck being 1/8th of tank low on gas. I did mistype the fuel mileage by .4 instead of .8. That’s my bad, but there was no way I was going back and dealing with that rep after such a downright uncomfortable interaction. I’ll take the fuel charge and whatever fee tacked on instead of returning to reverse the check-in like James offered. At least he offered that correction, but no thanks. UHaul can have that money so I can avoid that situation. This could’ve been avoided with a simple conversation instead of leaving a voicemail about all the small errors less than 5 minutes after we left. Avoid this location!
Kara PThe trailer was cleaned but the tire was down to 10 PSI on the passengers side rear, I had to pump the tire constantly to be able to haul recommended weights on each trip. The team at Exit 1 storage took note upon return and said it would be getting a replacement tire. The employees there were great and helpful. I’m assuming the tire issues happen often when sometime does not report it, my misfortune turned into an upcoming repair saving the next UHaul customer.
