Hinson's is the CLOSEST to where I was Moving. And Uhaul wanted me to drive the truck all the way to San Luis Obispo (way out of my way) . And Uhaul 's Main Office has the nerve to tell me to drop off the truck in Redwood City? 4 hours away?? I wasn't moving to Belmont!! Get it through your heads!

How U-Haul Reviews WorkIt was a positive experience all around from personel to drop off of vehicle. My one suggestion for improvement is to have U Haul signage closer to the street as the location wasn't apparent upon initial drive by.

James Btook almost an hour to pickup the vehicle. Service member had to recreate my reservation. I had to wait while client with flat tires were services and attended to. This threw off our use of the vehicle and travel by an hour making my commute with the vehicle go past midnight. passenger side mirror was not secured and would no hold a functional position. I got tools from our shop to tighten it before traveling otherwise this would have been a serious danger to all on the road as there was no way to see the passenger side lane at all.
Dan FWhile I don't have anything bad to say about the pick up location, I was very disappointed in the rental experience in regards to the automation. I was never able to add other drivers using the App and when I called customer service directly, the representatives were not very helpful. If you have to have multiple drivers, I highly recommend choosing a location that is a U-Haul facility and adding them in person. My son recently experienced the same issues with adding a driver. The App is worthless.
