I've received a terrible customer service in this location. I did the online check-in but was having trouble with it and wanted help, the person didn't want to help me and said that there was nothing he can do. I was able to call uhaul and figure it out. He was extremely rude the entire time I was there

Truck was dirty inside the box, like really dusty with a fine grit to it. This was a BIG truck so cleaning that out without proper tools to do it before I even put anything in it was a big let down. I have rented from u-haul a fair amount in the past 10 years and this marks about the worst experience I have had. Location staff was mostly un-helpful as I rented on line and they told me they could do nothing but tell me where the key pickup was.

MOISES D1. Rented van in the Chicago land area, it is surrounded by toll roads. I expected to pay the tolls. Agent did not mention how to handle tolls, should I bring my transponder? Do I need to contacted the state tollway myself? Does UHaul pay them? If I had not asked, I would never know to contact the toll authority and pay them on-Line and would have incurred penalties for non payment ($20 per toll). 2. Was caught in traffic due to accident I called agent and told him I would be a few minutes late. For 35 min I was charged an additional day. 3. So I was charged for an extra day but didn’t realize it until I looked up my receipt on the app. The agent just said “ No, don’t need to do anything, just drop off the key” he did not disclose he was charging me for a second day. So he is now able to double book the van and rent it to someone else tomorrow -I am paying for the day and the next renter is paying for the same day. Had I known it I would have kept it until 5:00 the second day. I paid for it. 4. The lack of communication from this agent has made this entire transaction harder and more expensive than it needed to be. 5. I will not rent from this agent again. 6. U-Haul is now the last possible option if we need to rent a truck.
