the pickup location was moved to a remote style pickup without providing that context, the process to generate the key code was not easily conveyed and caused delay and frustration.

My pick-up location was moved from the Broadway location to Peterson. I had requested in-person check in but this was not possible. The BP staff was not friendly nor helpful. Once I check-in through the app and picked up the truck it was tightly parked in an area that had a great deal of cars coming and going. It was extremely difficult to get the truck out of the parking lot. I was alone and had to get someone else's assistance guiding the truck out. Because of the time the pick up took, I was late getting to where I needed to be with the truck. I rent a least twice a year for business purposes and would not recommend this location nor will I use this location again.
Jeff GThe app instructions appeared out of order, so the pick up and returns were more complicated than they needed to be. Additionally, the van's key was not located where it was supposed to be, and ended up being locked in the return lockbox.

DANeil CAfter the gas station clerk made it clear that he had nothing to do with U-Haul, I did some research and found that it was a self-service process. Perhaps he could have let me know that, or someone let him know, because I thought I was at the wrong location at first. But it all worked out in the end, and I was impressed by U-Haul's secure self-service drop-off and convenient location offers.
