The trailer was absolutely terrible tires had broken belts or something trailer swayed so bad all over the road bare exposed wires in the trailer and door would get stuck and had to sit for 10-20 minutes to open and close . Waiting for manager to call me back no response

I emailed this complaint on Saturday and have yet to hear back, what's the holdup???? Good afternoon, I feel it necessary to speak of my rental experience today. I rented a cargo van for an event for my business today. Everything was going great the vehicle worked out perfectly, the event ran smoothly and overall a good day. So as I was gassing up the vehicle before returning it, I realized that the odometer was in km. Definitely struck me as odd and was something that I was to bring up when I returned the vehicle. As I pulled in to return the van, I was greeted by one of your associates, the same gentleman who checked me in this morning. I explained to him the situation and he checked it out. He asked me if I had reviewed the mileage before I left in the morning and I did and told him that it matched what was on the contract. The odometer read 16,184 and I had no reason to question that number as it was a fairly new model van. I told him that the mileage charge would have to be adjusted to account for the kilometers. He then told me that I traveled 59 miles. Seeing as my day consisted of a round trip from New Bedford to Fall River I questioned that amount. The associate told me that a round trip from New Bedford to Fall River was about 30 miles, the 59 miles seemed excessive. He mentioned that was the distance that was calculated, which was true, but that was kilometers. I then proceeded to google the km to mile distance, which is 1.609 km to 1 mile. When I showed it to him this calculates to 36.66 miles which made much more sense and was in line with the associates guesstimate of the round trip distance. He then told me he was going to credit me the mileage difference, which I was okay with. He told me he was going to credit me $15 for the mileage which brought my total charge to $79.95. I thought it was high, but it had been a long day and assumed it was correct so I went on my way. After leaving UHaul, I had to visit another store when I decided to look at my receipt again as something seemed off. Upon further review, I realized that I was not credited enough. I was billed at 59 miles(KM) and only given a $15 credit, which in essence would be a 45 mile charge, but my trip was a total of 36 miles, so I was due another $9. Now $9 might not seem like much, but, that's my $9. My wife and I started our own business this year and every dollar counts for us. So I decided to return back to UHaul to further explain I was still due money back. As I walked in, I saw the gentleman who helped and I went up to him and explained I was still due additional money. At that point his temperament and demeanor changed from our prior two dealings. He then blurts out "How much do you want back" in a less than friendly tone. I told him it should be another $9. He then tells me next time I rent a vehicle I should check to see that it is in miles and not kilometers! Are you kidding me???? Why is that my responsibility, I checked the o

U HAUL ,YOU NEED TO WORK ON PICK UP FOR PEOPLE WHO ORDER THRU COMPUTER, RATHER THAN HAVE US HAVE TO WAIT IN A LINE WITH WALK INS.I SPENT MORE THAN 30 MINUTES IN LINE WAITING FOR MY PRE PAID RENTAL!!! ONLY ONE PERSON WORKING BECAUSE YOUR TOO CHEAP TO HAVE ENOUGH HELP ON.

I showed up. I was told on the phone everything is all set. He Gave me keys to the van and said go way in the back of building and it's back there somewhere??? And your blankets are in the store you can pick them up .. I did. How about the hand trucks.i had to Drive to the front to pick them .. up. Other uhaul in Swansea they have it all set before I even get there. He mumbled talking. He was not happy being there. My company is a good company we use uhaul all the time and we are going to use other options from now on. Thank you.

This branch is very helpful, and always has the equipment I need. Had a minor problem, but told the manager Ryan and he had it straightened out in minutes so I could get on my way! Excellent service, and the trucks are great too.

Although I arranged and paid ahead online, the movers had to wait in a long line to get moving blankets provided. This delay resulted in me having to pay the moving crew an extra $65. Get it together, please.
