1. I reserved a truck on the mobile app, when I went to get the keys the truck had been sent out just ahead of me. This required me to wait in the office to sign a new contract. It also resulted in a double charging my account. The incorrect charge has yet to fall off. 2. I reserved a furniture dolly online (essential to the move). There weren't any available so I had to run around town to find one. 3. After I more than filled up the tank and exactly estimated the mileage, I figured that I wouldn't have any excess charges. For absolutely no reason I was charged for a Utility dolly. Kind of ridiculous. Best of luck guys. -James

Pick up was horrible at the st Claude avenue in New Orleans pick up. We made reservations a month in advance, and were informed that the pick up point was the Tulane location and that we would be receiving a call/text verification the day before pick up (10/2/20). We were not notified by call or text nor email, as was explained and agreed upon by phone when the truck/trailer was reserved. I had to initiate the call to verify the reservation. It was a that time they informed us that the pick up location was changed to St. Claude St. If I had not called, I would not have known this. when we arrived at the St. Claude location the woman behind the counter was not helpful in the least. As a matter of consequence she was extremely rude and condescending. The customer that had the truck before us was late. She called the customer, and was told by the customer that someone else was supposed to have 'dropped the truck off', and that they would have to ‘call and see where she is'. So basically I'm waiting on the previous customer's friend to decide to answer their phone or to drop the truck off, if they even were to drop the truck off that day. She left us no options expect to wait outside in the heat for the truck to return or to go to Deluth Mississippi and try there. we had already driven 4hrs from lake Charles and we couldn't help but feel taken advantage of and unhelped. The woman showed no empathy for our situation. There were two customers behind us in line that even asked her, “is there any trucks at any other location that he can get”, she Seemed annoyed at that, and replied no, yet refused to call any other locations. My 71 year old mother had to insist on her calling the customer that was supposed to drop the truck off again. Which she reluctantly did. The customer did not answer. In desperation, we had to scramble and try and contact other truck rental companies, because we had to leave that evening to be back in our home town for work the next day. Two trucks ended up coming in. And I had to go back inside to inquire about the arrival of my reserved vehicle and trailer. At that time I was told that one of the vehicles was infact the vehicle that I'd reserved. if I hadn't taken the initiative to go in and inquire, I would not have been told anything. We watched her wait on other people with kindness but yet she treated us like we were trash. She was rude to me and my party that was with me . We waited for over an hour before truck arrived at time of check out she did not look at me or treat me like she did the others with kindness . I feel as though she rushed through the transaction to get us out of her hair .

The breaks were squeaky and a light was on I think from not being reset-odd. I had a hard time with the rear view mirrors as I could not find the way to change them-very very bumpy-seems like the truck needed some maintenance. Everyone was very nice at the store.

Worst U-Haul locations ever I have visited so far. I'm an over the road truck driver for a moving company and rented trucks from U-Haul for almost 17 years and this location was the worst customer service I ever experienced so far. The way they talk to their customer are like the you're their enemies. I never had some have any bad attitude toward me like this before in any U-Haul location

No one was there to help. One guy cleaning a trailer pointed to a fenced in area. I assumed that meant drop the trailer off there. I asked was there anything i needed to do and he ignored me. Not only that i get a $16 cleaning fee for a Trailer that was spotless when i brought it back. Sounds like fraud to me pretending something is dirty when it's not. I will make sure to post everywhere I can on the internet about the awful Service i received from the uhaul place in New Orleans. Uhaul ought to be ashamed of itself for even lending its name to a place like this. I will use another company next time if I don't hear back

The policy for uhaul is horrible I have had to many bad experiences, I rented a trailer one time and it was to small for my equipment. I was going only gone away from the property for 15 mins I came back thinking I could just simply swap to get the right size trailer I need. Instead they charge me a whole day for just 15 minutes then I had to rent another trailer. A complete rip off. I have had many rip offs with this company, I just don't feel like all the typing at this point. So I sincerely hope y'all change y'all policies, or management. Because they never explain how things actually work they just take your money. From now on I'll rent my trailers from Home Depot

I was barely acknowledged by the desk clerk, who then told me I had to see the guy outside. I went outside, he wasn't there. When he came back, he just barked orders at me, not at all nice. I was charged an extra 8.00 for a few extra miles. The fact that I put more gas in it than I left with should have given me some sort of credit.

Employees seem unconcerned about the consumer's time. I used this location twice within 2 weeks, although rented from Uhaul 4 times last month. Both times the customer service was the same. The workers don't acknowledge that a customer has entered the store. They continue doing whatever it is at the time. The first time the employee answered the phone, and proceeded to ask what was on the menu. She then ordered her lunch. It also took 27 minutes for her to refund my balance from my cash deposit. I could understand if there were other customers, there was not.
