The truck was not in good shape. Truck smelled, turn signals didn't work, the front end was drifting to the left , poor gas mileage, front bumper was damaged. The overall condition of the truck was poor.

I scheduled me equipment reservation about a month in advance, and the day of my pickup I was called 2 hours beforehand and told that my pickup and dropoff location were switched to a location that added about 30 miles to my local move. I was very disappointed when neither the local or corporate offices were willing to acqiesce on the extra charges for fuel and mileage and instead I was informed that a cancellation would result in a large fee. I do a lot of my business with Uhaul but this is the second time in two mo this I've had major issues with the customer service and handling of difficult situations. Very disappointed

To start, I had a time sensitive move. I will absolutely never rent from U-Haul again. Nor will anyone I can communicate with via in-person, text, call, internet, or ANY form of communication, EVER. This was by far the worst customer experience I have ever experienced. I am moving 700 miles away. I rent a 26 foot U Haul 1 month in advance. I give my credit card to hold my reservation. I go to pick up my U Haul on the DATE OF MY RESERVATION. It is not available, and they are not sure if they can't give me one that day and are unsure about the next day. Their reason? I didn't pick it up within ONE HOUR of them texting me it would be ready. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER was it ever told to me that I needed to pick my truck up within one hour. General Manager at their shop may have well been a Domino's delivery man. He was speechless. When asked to see the "one hour" pick up policy - he lied and said it was "sensitive" information and he could not show me. Completely terrible business model, practice, customer service; overall an amateur organization. Want to hear more? Call me. I look forward to hearing from you.

This has been the worst experience ever after booking a truck checkin in and arriving to the location to tell me the truck wasn't available then call customer service about the situation and receive THE ABSOLUTE WORST service (I was rudely interrupted when I was describing my problem to only receive attitude from an "customer service" agent named Tosh ( there should be some kind of training on how to talk to customers)) then when I finally get a truck it's dirty with less than 1/4 tank of gas it was actually on 1/8 ( which meant I had to head straight to the gas station afraid to be stranded) and the "Manager" said "it's fine the computer will mark it at 1/4 if you return it on 1/4 you will receive a $27 credit which I did but still didn't receive my credit ... It's posted that there is a $50 guarantee which Tosh ( the very rude customer service agent) told me she wasn't giving me because of a technicality then I was forced to put gas n the truck to use it and return it with the proper gas to still not be compensated... This was the absolute worst experience ever I pray I never have to use ur service again.

Fix the trucks before renting them out it was 100 degrees the a/c didn't work. The transmission was straning when going up bridges. And once I reported it to the guy that do equipment return he just smiled. The service was good when I picked the truck up from the General manager.

There was no way to know that the unit I rented leaked and also had a wiring issue. However, for reasons of safety, someone needs to fix the trailer before it rented again. We had to stop every 25-30 miles to jiggle the wires to get the lights to work in the dark. This was not only unsafe but VERY dangerous!
