These guys were even worse, didn't check the truck, very rude and not helpful at all. I have rented from Uhaul in the past but at the same pick-up/ delivery location, don't think I'm doing it again.

I submitted my reservation online for one location, and received a confirmation for the same location. When I went to pick up I learned my reservation was for a different location. Fortunately the original location was able to provide me with a truck of a different size but I'm not sure how my pickup location was switched on me without any notice!

I would suggest only using an actual Uhaul dealer location and not a satellite pick up/drop off location. This guy was a mechanic who simply fixed their units. The tires were almost bald. There were no accessories such as harness wiring adaptor or receiver so I had to drive a 16' cube van to a parts store to purchase on a Sunday afternoon. The location originally showed as being CLOSED on this day so I had to call Uhaul and they forwarded me to their Traffic department who said he would be there at 11 am. My appointment was for 11:30 and there were 2 others before me. When I arrived, those waiting said he wasn't going to show up until noon and then gave ME grief because I had to go to the hospital for IV treatment so I told them to tell him I would be there at 12:30 instead of 11:30. It was NOT a comfortable experience at all. I was made to feel like "I" was an imposition. Then he argued with me about the price I was quoted, overcharged me, refused to adjust the amount, charged me a deposit when I paid in full and said I could call Uhaul on Monday and get them to refund it. His biggest complaint was that I was keeping him from his lunch.

The location on Braid St, New Westminster, was a horrible experience. The manager was a douchebag and tried to charge us for an extra day, plus wasnt going to give our deposit back. We left pissed off without our whole deposit. Dont ever use Screw-Haul!

Wrong truck available. Van did not show as checked in until 48 hours after I returned it. I filled it with the right amount of gas but was still charged fueling cost. 0 stars.

1/4 tank of gas is not acceptable, half a tank maybe, but to have to put gas in right off the start gate is not good. Plus I fell in the parking lot and no one came over to help me or even asked if I was okay. computers are slower than slugs, need to upgrade that service so your not there so long.

I received a message a few hours ago saying that they changed my time (it was 7pm, they changed for 4:30pm). They also changed the location. Because of that I had to pay for a taxi cuz the location I asked was close to my house, this one was in the other side of new west. They didn’t even have the big dolly that I asked for, and the message that I received said “the truck would be ready with the dolly”. Not a good experience.

Every experience we've ever had with UHaul has had something go wrong! I'm not a fussy person but its an extremely poorly run company and when you try to tell the employees the issue they just try to pass it off to someone else. In one experience we've booked in one location and we were told we had to drive an hour to pick it up somewhere else and that place was closed for the day. We've had a employee at one of the markets working for UHaul yell at us, to the point UHaul customer service on the phone asked who was yelling. In this last experience it took way longer than necessary to figure out how to enter our certificate discount code into the system. At first the guy said we had to figure it out ourselves but we told him UHaul gave us the discount because of the mess ups last time and it said right in the email to provide it to the staff upon pick up. He had no idea what he was doing. Then we got everything packed up and we're about to leave town when we noticed they didn't even put license plates on the truck!! So, we couldn't leave that night as we had to wait to address the issue. There needs to be more training for staff and lots more COMMUNICATION between employees!!

The location "Arnie's Grocery" at 302 10th street New Westminster needs to learn what customer service is. My reservation was originally set to pick up at this location. The pick up did not happen at Arnies due to their lack of preparation for customer pickup (online pick up was not set up or available). BMG auto repair on the other hand was quick. In and out within a few minutes (both pick up and drop off)

The major issue here is I reserved for 6pm on SW Marine Drive and then was notified at 3pm that I had to be two cities over by 4:30pm or there would be no truck for me. I had to leave work early, and drove 110 minutes in rush hour traffic, then drive back in the same traffic. I was given a mileage credit that didn't come close to time and gas and hassle involved. Your guarantee is worthless.

They were rude and uncaring. They hardly spoke to me and when they did they mumbled and just stared at me. I was beginning to get mad and had to excuse myself from the situation. The trailer had a burned out tail light that I had to point out needed repair. It was met with blank stares and an eventual tool box being brought out. The tail light was fixed after a time but when the door was closed the wiring was presumably cut as the light went out again. Eventually the repair was made and I left. With express check in it took almost an hour and a half. I don’t count the half hour that I had to go pick up a 2” ball as I had 2 5/16” ball. They did put it on for me so that was alright and appreciated. The office was deplorable. Dirty, dingy and smelled of a musty house boat. I refuse to ever go back to that location ever again.

The location did not have all of the equipment I booked online, and what they said they had was not loaded into the vehicle when I was told it was ready to go. Which means that I had no equipment to help with my move or notice so I could rent equipment from elsewhere. The location doesn't have a safe space to park your car and because it is in a gated industrial area, after hours pick up and drop off is not possible. Also, the proximity to train tracks makes this location inherently difficult to get in and out of, especially during peak traffic. I would recommend using one of the other nearby providers instead.

Two major issues. The outlet is inside a locked compound and can't be accessed after business hours, including the key drop box and customer parking. The computer system is incredibly slow.( 2-4 minutes for every single step) It took 15 min to pick up the vehicle and 15 min to return it. Staff were pleasant, polite and professional, vehicle was in excellent shape well maintained and very clean.
