Longer hours and.better sineage would be appreciated. It was hard to find the building and harder to find the uhaul office. We were lucky someone was at the first set of buildings to send us in the right direction, or we may have had issues with dropping off the truck.

I booked the day 9.30am, the owner told me on system it is 10.30. I felt like he is cheating , so called customer line they confirmed it is 9.30am. After he says there is no Van available, the person who got the van not returning on time. He offered a pick up track instead, it is crazy raining day , I booked apartment move in , so I had no choice! When I leaving the yard, just saw the van is driving back! This location owner is terrible! He must wanted to rent extra van to someone else , cause it is raining day, people don’t like to get pick up trucks!

Usually, before handing us the keys, there's an inspection of the vehicle. There was nothing. He processed our payment, made us initial and sign some papers, got the truck and handed the keys.

They told me the truck would be ready at 930. I showed you and they told to to come a 1030 instead. I showed up at 1030 to pick up the truck and they ended up making me an hour behind with the move and they kept harassing me when I was slightly late. Will now use this location again

As it is also printed on my contract (# 85104127) I drove only 58 KMs but I am charged 108 KMs (an extra of 50 KMs). Also I don't understand why am I charged $19.95 double under "Rental Rate" and under "Rental Charge"

My rental was outside my neighbourhood , i had to travel 5km instead of walking 10min. Not pleased that this was done . Additional cost and time incurred. If you select a location then thats should be final , if uhaul changes it then it should be free. Otherwise it should be on website that cannot accomodate , practice appears to be a bait and switch . Although an email is sent advising of pickup location, why would anyone go outside there region since availabilty was confirmed? People be cautious on this practice from uhaul .

I tried to book for a 20 feet truck, but couldn’t get it, so the UHAL supervisor at last reserved me for a 17 feet truck and once I went to the location, they don’t even carry 17 feet truck, and it’s being Sunday I cannot find the truck of what looking for in any other locations, and finally I ended up taking the 15 feet truck, and I have to throw my stuff which won’t fit in my 15 feet truck. Never again UHAL in my life...

Have signs that indicate where to drop-off a U-Haul truck. The drop off centre is in a warehouse full of other companies and in a tight industrial area so it is very difficult to locate.

The truck Allocated to me was very muddy and dirty on the outside. Even the side view mirrors were not cleaned at all. I had to stop and wash and wipe the mud off so I can see the rear. After dark fell I thought the headlights were not working, I then realized they were completely covered with mud. Again I had to stop and wash the mud off.

Online booking is just aweful experience. I have reserved all truck and other stuff for 8am...it seemed nothing wrong in the confirmation process. But staffs appeared at 9:30am. ?? One and half hours wasted. The question is that why online booking is not as good as in person?!? Please revise it. So disappointing....the guy said we have the same problems over and over in online bookings

The attendant was nice enough, but not overly helpful. Wasn't particularly good at answering questions. And even though we ordered blankets, he didn't have any. We had to go across town to find a uhaul that had blankets. Hope I don't have to rent from this location again.

My experience was not good. Communication was a central problem, and I do not know whether that is due to the particular pick up location or the UHaul reservation system. Although I received adequate notice of a change in address for my scheduled 7:30PM pickup, I did not receive adequate (or any advance) notice of the fact that my pickup location closed at 4:30PM. I was just about to leave my workplace at 4:50PM when I received a call from UHaul saying essentially, "I guess you already know that the pick up location closed at 4:30; please call us to pick up the truck after hours". However, when I called to pick up the vehicle, I discovered that I required a smart phone with internet access in order to pick up the truck. I do not have a smart phone, nor do I have data on my cell phone plan. I had to ask a friend to come by and work with my be using his phone just to pick up the vehicle. To add to the stress, the UHaul truck was parked in front of a car shop and the car shop owner was frustrated at having to wait for the UHaul truck to move so that he could move some vehicles for the car shop. The online check-in took about an hour to complete, adding again to the stress and frustration. To top it off, the truck did not have the Utility Dolly and 12 blankets I had reserved and paid for. The next morning, my wife stopped by a different UHaul location asking for these missing supplies because I had been led to believe (over the phone with UHaul) that I should probably ask for the supplies at a different location in case the arranged pick up location did not have them. The different UHaul location informed my wife that she should instead go to the arranged pick up location, which she did (one more delay on moving day!). At the arranged pick up location (BMG Auto Repair), my wife requested the Utility Dolly and blankets, and was given a dolly plus 6 blankets (not the 12 requested), without any questions about a reservation number or name. When I first started driving the (automatic transmission) truck, it stalled on a hill with a lighted intersection. Thankfully there were no other stalls after that. All in all, I was frustrated with UHaul over the experience and was leaning heavily towards no longer working with UHaul in the future.

Equip trucks with winter tires. My truck got stuck in a snowy parking lot in Nelson, and couldn't make it up a small hill. This resulted in me having to delay unloading the truck for 12 hours until the roads were sanded. Also, please include taxes in the online quote rather than tacking them on only when picking up the truck.
