The agent asked me to pickup early (about 1.5hrs earlier than booked) because they had an appointment and said i would get the extra time i had needed to unload on the otherside. I dropped off at originally planned time and was charged extra day. While i was credited after explaining, this wasnt an inconvenience for me, while i was the one being helpful!
James WThe uhaul was full of dust like it hadn’t been swept out. We put a request for a furniture dolly in the original order and weren’t told that they didn’t have one until we arrived to pick up the uhaul. Our pick-up location was changed as well, this wasn’t the original location we selected for pick up.
Larae WThe truck I rented was absolutely terrible. After picking it up, on the way home, the engine malfunctioned, so I went back to the dealership to have it checked. The manager told me, "Don't worry, this truck can run several thousand miles continuously without any problems." What shocked me most was when he told me, "You can cancel if you're not comfortable with it." What the heek? Because he knew I was renting this truck to travel from Vancouver to Calgary. Next, the truck I rented had a transmission problem. I felt incredible pressure driving it up the steep Rocky Mountains with the engine making a dinosaur-like noise. I'd give the U-Haul dealership in NewWest a zero-star rating if I could. In the end, the gas cost for the 15" truck over 1050km was 450 CAD. Luckily, I made it to my destination safely.
