Reserved 2-weeks in advance & had to pay Lyft services ($30.00) to shuttle the van over personally to the retail & storage store for additional purchases. After visiting the store 3 times & seen a total of 6-same size vans being serviced out in their pick-up lanes. Could used a dedicated supply purchase line to shorten the waiting period for purchases outside of rental sales.

This location was completely out of my from my â€˜preferred location' request. And I received confirmation and then an updated notice of the new location with less than 24hrs notice.

It took 45 minutes to change a simple reservation from one-way to in-tow, which was only necessary because the Uhaul that I had reserved a week before suddenly wasn't available at the original location anymore.
Had to sweep out the back of the truck myself and clean the bird droppings off the windshield.

Something seriously wrong happened to my u-haul experience. I reserved a truck at Thornton, everything was fine, got a confirmation email. On the day of truck pickup, went to Thornton center, rep only know they did not have a truck for me. After a long wait and panic, was advised pickup at another location, the rep couldn't even find the address at first, telling me they don't have address. Then finally got the address for the new pickup location, went there, the address isn't even visible!!! Had to ask around to find the right shop! The truck was a different size to my order, someone changed my order without my knowledge. No one would even acknowledge this!!! This sort of surprise is the worst nightmare to further stress out anyone moving!!! I am very dissatisfied with my experience, and just getting worse that there is no feedback mechanism for complaints: you only have "compliments" on the website.
The equipment was the best I have ever seen at any UHaul as I think they bought the vehicle new. However, when I had trouble finding the place, I tried to call the place three times in a row and it kept going to voicemail. No one picked up the phone. This is not a dedicated UHaul location and has many other clients to take care of. So the service would be hit or miss. Customers will have to wait in line just cos someone is trying to get a new phone or get some forms notarized. Overall, I was skeptical to go to this place to begin with, but since the quality of the equipment was great, I rated the center average. If not, I would have rated it below average. Thanks.

We went to get the dolly & truck from this location the couple did not know what was going on. They blamed "other" people because they were not forwarded information about our rental they said. They gave us a receipt which did not include the appliance dolly which we wanted. They did not even give us the dolly when we went to get the truck. I went again to get the dolly & he gave us the utility dolly. I said we had wanted the appliance dolly. He said there must be a misunderstanding because this is all we have. We were asked to go to the Grimmer location for the dolly which was closing in 5 minutes. Next morning when we went to get the dolly the rep charged me for the dolly saying that we have to rent it from this location & the contract we had with the truck will not work with this new contract. We paid for the dolly AGAIN. After leaving Fremont we went to return the truck with a 1/4 tank of gas per contract the next day we were sent a receipt showing that U-haul charged us additional $80 for gas. I called customer service & they transferred me to finance after pressing choices over the phone it came back to customer service after which I was told that finance department was closed on weekends & that I should send them an email. I sent customer service an email regarding my issue & so far I have had no contact from U-Haul. Overall experience with U-Haul POOR
I returned the van about four hours after I checked it out, however I received many text messages, voice mails and emails from Uhaul for the next eight or so days saying I had not returned it. There was a phone number for me to call that I called several times and nobody answered. The invoice says I returned it on 11/9 but I returned it on 10/29. It doesn't look like I was charged a late fee but it's a nuissance I didn't need.
No moving quilts available even though it was guaranteed. Had to drive to another location to pick them up. Added milage to the truck as well as my time. Also wanted to get an early start, but this place did not open until 9:45.
It is hard to find the place. No sign or anything.
