I reserved a 6-12 trainer. Got there waited 45 min in line to find out not only no 6-12 but nothing closed. Begged to 4 hours of closed 5-8. Give it and on return waited 30 min to check out. Most of staff hiding out in back and appeared at end of 45 min. Left least experienced guy at counter alone. You have camera s everywhere use them for good: make sure employees work not screw off in back. Get a good manager preferably and adult !

I picked up my uhaul waited a half hour while the associate helped me n got side tracked with other people. They handed me keys n I had to go find truck. Poor customer service

Tried to rent from this facility on line and the on line kept trying to send to other nearby stores in Newburgh and Vails Gate, indicating that this facility had no trailers for rent. I called and was able to rent from this place and found out that they had 2 trailers for rent. This site is much more convenient for me than the other. Excellent service and help hooking up.

Don't lie to customers, especially ones who have used Uhual services for over 20 years, and refund the second day charge. I had to wait an hour for the uhaul personal to remove the uhaul lock from the storage unit I rented and wait an additional 30 minutes on line to return the truck. I was charged a second day for because of the wait time. I called as soon as the transaction alert my bank. I still have not received a refund!

I've rented before New Windsor NY, route 300 without a problem but this last time was a disaster. Not only did they not have a truck ready, they sent me to Middlehope/Newburgh to get a truck. I placed the reservation online a week prior. Lost an hour of moving time.

I needed a larger cargo van that was not available and I just think it would be good business to offer the next larger one at the same price since the one I needed was not available. I used the smaller cargo van which luckily did fit. However the sales person was young and maybe not experienced and said she couldn't call her boss or do that. I know U haul in AZ did that and its what made me use them again.

Wasn't able to hook the Hitch trailer up to my truck and your workers told me it was ok, and I was pulled over 3times for that on road. Had to pay someone to come out and pick up trailer. Horrible service

I was promised a free month of storage when I originally booked my move from Newburgh NY to Rye NY if I also booked a U HAUL truck -- no stipulations to this deal were explained to me at the time. Unfortunately, dates changed and I had to move my booking up 2 days from Aug. 30 to Aug 28th. U Haul, after not being able to find my reservation every time I called (still waiting on my confirmation email for my storage that never came, even after multiple attempts to have it sent to me) was able to move date up and change the pick up location from Portchester to Newburgh. We would then be moving our belongings from Rye back to Newburgh. I was informed that my flat rate was no longer applicable and that I would be now paying by the mile. This I agreed to, as I was getting a deal on the storage for a month, so the $20-30 difference wasn't that detrimental. Note: when I was changing my reservation, the woman who helped me told me my rate would be $.99 cent/mile... a difference of 20 cents that I saw online right in front of me as I was on the call. Had I not asked what rate she was locking in, I would have been out this money, too. I was never notified that my storage deal was null/void due to this change in route/trip until the day of the move. On Aug 28t, I called to confirm my storage unit was ready to go, because I was nervous with them not being able to find my reservation so many times, and was told yes... I said I wanted to confirm this was one month free... and was told, no because this was no longer a one way trip. I then tried to call the store multiple times, but their calls were routed to customer service and was unable to reach anyone at the store directly. The first couple of people I spoke to were very nice to me, saying the only person who can override something like this would be the GM. At one point, I was on the phone with someone from customer service for 23 mins only to be accidentally transferred to someone else who had no idea my story/what I was calling about. During the middle of a move, this is the last thing you want to be dealing with. All in all, the storage manager pushed back on me saying that I should have let them know my trip was no longer one way? I asked to cancel my storage reservation at this point, due to the lack of customer service and empathy. Later in the day, I received a call saying our truck was overdue back to the location and there was another reservation that needed the truck at 5 pm.When I originally booked the truck, the service rep explained that I would have the truck all day until close of business. My brother, when picking up the truck said we would be back at 2 pm. We figured this was an estimated time and not set in stone, as the first rep told me we would have the truck the whole day as needed -- I assumed that's what the 29.99 rental fee was for? We did not intend to be late with the truck, but we were not ready to bring the truck back because I had to find an alternate arrangement for storage n

Make sure you tell first-time users about the tow button. That it comes on automatically and that you have to turn it off every time you start up the truck. Otherwise, you will waste A LOT of gas.

Truck was not ready to be picked up, sale sign still present on windows. Gas was less than listed amount, dings and scratches present that weren't listed on damage sketch. Had to address all of this issues myself, otherwise it wouldn't have been taken care of.

I was very disappointed that that the car dolly I had ordered more than 3 weeks in advance was not available. I was forced to pay for an auto transport on the day before I was to move. The price was twice as much and I was told I had to pay no discount for their error.
