Last year i started a prom closet for local young ladies and men can come in and try on prom dresses and suits, take one they like for free so they can enjoy prom too for whatever the reason why money might be tight, everyone should be able to go to their prom. I ran 8th a problem with storage for the dresses and suits as I had received a total of 160 dresses and suits donated from people all across the Hudson valley NY, and Javon stepped in and offered a unit to store the suits and dresses in for me. Words cannot express the extreme gratitude for Javon’s generosity. Thank you so very much.

Lori K | Overall ExperienceI write the following in response to a situation that in the way it was handled was starling, unexpected and why I had to leave. I write hoping that management is informed of this situation. I have stored with this facility for approximately 8 years. Many of those years with 3 rooms. Till yesterday I had room 3042 that I used to store paper items. Taking precautions I kept them off the floor and covered in plastic. This past Wednesday, 10/9/24 I came to withdraw some the items to catalogue them, and planned to return the items Friday, 10/11/24. Opening the storage I was distressed to find a puddle of dirty, red water pooled in the plastic. Thankfully, nothing was damaged. I went to the office to inform them of the situation, showed photos of the water on the plastic. The employee said that the manager was not in that day but would be the following, and that they would review with them about repairing the room or maybe moving me to another room. In the interim, I decided it would be best to remove all items to free the room for those options. I returned Friday, went to the office to speak with the manager. The manager was unaware of the situation. When I reviewed it with him, his first response: "well, it's a building....things happen" and nothing more. I understand that, and that's why the items were kept off the floor and covered in plastic. I understand that communications between employee and manger can get "lost". But I can't understand "things happen" and then stop. I realized that with this person that my best action was to limit the conversation and remove and clean my unit - and find a another storage facility. I did, went back to the manager, who said "your checked out". Stop. I asked if I needed to sign anything. "No." So I filled it in for myself that, that's it. l left. And after so many years and still needing storage, I left. The problem with the unit was very fixable. But the response, NO. Not ever coming back. Ruedi Hofmann / ruedihofmann@mac.com

JOEL D | First ImpressionsI love the facility and would have stayed if they had a larger unit available when I needed it. It was very clean, well lit, temp was controlled well, they had a good amount of carts, etc. My only critique is the unit access hours. I wish it was either til 12mn or even 24 hours. Some people's schedules may not allow them the luxury of accessing their units within the 7a-7p time frame. I have several friends working 7a-7p and have had to use storage facilities further away just so they could have longer access to their units. Think about it. Overall, it is a great facility and well managed. I was sad have to relocate.
