This was a horrible experience! I had trouble w the app and could not locate the number to call to get the code for the lock box. I asked an employee if he knew. He said, “That’s UHaul. I don’t know anything about that.” At 9:00 (I had arrived at 8:20.) UHaul opened. They were well aware I was having trouble. The man, who was the same person who told me he didn’t know anything, WAS the UHaul rep. I was told to wait another five minutes. He used this time to call a customer who returned a truck, to ask about unreturned blankets, KNOWING I had movers waiting at my home, that I was paying $200 an hour. The truck had no emergency brake. It had no power and best of all, the he brakes were very poor. Poor service. Unfit truck. This was the only negative part about my entire move. I will be reaching out to The Better Business Bureau today, and will be posting this review for all to see. Poor service is your choice. Putting a customer in an unsafe vehicle, is absolutely shameful and dangerous.
