My overall return experience was terrible. I was sent 45 minutes away from my house to 6310 Hwy 162 in Hollywood, SC. I found 6310a, 6310b, 6310c, and 6310d. There was NO indication of a business accepting U-Haul returns. I spent 45 minutes trying to find the return spot. I called the 800 number and they found me a different location for me to return. Which added yet another hour to my journey.
Russell RTell the customer beforehand that you don’t have the additional equipment they need, that way they don’t have to drive to another U-Haul to get the equipment. Don’t give a truck on empty to a customer
Sean GThe ratchets for securing the front wheels were nearly impossible to use. Not lubricated and extremely corroded. Not sure who's responsible for maintaining the equipment.
