I waited at the drop off zone for 10 minutes before I went inside for someone to help me. The sign said someone would come outside after pulling up. Then the worker did not seem interested in helping me with a receipt, etc.

It is an odd situation to tell a customer to drop their trailer at one of the spots after arriving (this is a first for me given that equipment drop off and positioning should be the responsibility of the location) then insisting them to leave without the final receipt. I can kind of understand that they are attempting to streamline the process by quickly dropping off equipment and getting the customer back on the road. But after a long drive, there is no better satisfaction to wait to close out the contract and get my final receipt. Especially when there were additional charges that I did not expect, which could have been explained at the location.

It was an unusual experience to drop off the equipment and be told that everything is taken care of and the receipt would be emailed to me. In addition, I was instructed to drive around the location to drop off the trailer... which seemed like their job to begin with. Then, I was charged for additional items I did not anticipate, which I feel could have been resolved if I stayed until the contract was closed out. While I understand it might be to streamline the process in getting the customer back on the road as quick as possible, it is not necessary. I just drove 400+ miles to get there; I can wait a few more minutes to properly close out the contract.

We had reserved a 10' truck Thursday evening. Upon arrival UHAUL the rep said there are no 10' trucks available, but I do see your reservation. Another customer came in for a 10' truck, the same happened to her. The two reps who took care of us WERE NOT TO BLAME. The reps who worked the night before were to blame. In the end the reps were able to give us both a 15' truck, but the long wait hampered our moving plans. Bad management or hiring unqualified people!

The staff in the Norwood off ice was very kind and helpful. Mary was a life saver in recommending me to the Mover Help App! I couldn't have done the move with out them. I had received estimates from several companies with fees over $1200. Using U-Haul and Trail Away Movers the total cost was well under $500.

Your general manager John seems great and eager to refund me. The truck I reserved wasn't available, so I was given a truck in a scramble. On departure I was quoted to have between 1/4 and 1/2 tank of gas. I live about 3 miles away. The gas light was on before I even got home along with a green wrench light. When I called immediately I was just told it would be noted in my account. During our move the check engine light came one and off. The light in the back of the truck stopped working and we were moving at night. Because they have me a last minute truck I had to bring that one back to Norwood rather than a closer location to my new home because it was needed at 8 am. I made sure we left no belongings behind, while doing this my 6 year old found cigarette butts in the ash tray and Dunkin donuts trash under the seats. All this was water under the bridge to me. Until I was charged $230 and told I drove 153 miles. In reality I drive about 26. The worst part was the customer service. I spoke to employees with this location,"traffic", regional and corporate before I was able to reach John. I'm confident in him rectifying the situation. The customer service from others...disgusting. Coming from someone who's been in customer service for years now, I know that it's like and I never complain. However I was basically told it was my fault, that I should have done a walk through with my sales rep, because you would while buying a new vehicle wouldn't you? Uhaul being such a reputable company, I was asked if I took pictures to document. This is probably my 4th uhaul I've rented over the course of 5 years and I've NEVER encountered something like this. Once my refund has been applied to what is right I will be happier, unfortunately I think this was my last uhaul.

Service at the pickup/drop-off location was very slow. I reserved the truck for Saturday, July 2 at 7 am (a very busy weekend) and stood in line behind 1 person for 15 minutes. By the time I left, there were 8-10 people waiting in line behind me!
