The 24 hour contact list reservation was the worst experience I ever had. Ultimately we overrode that with the location Owner. Ultimately I don't know what he did, but I was standing outside his business for over 30 minutes on the phone with U-Haul 800 number and the website was not working. I was told there was no work around. They had their own process. It is my encouragement that U-Haul has an override option through their 800 number so when someone is stranded at a location where there is no reception and no one on staff that you can still get your truck. I was over an hour late to the moving gathering because of this.
