make sure inventory count is accurate. They had to move a customer to another site because their count was off and I had to wait for them to fix a flat tire on the trailer. I was there for almost an hour.

Attendant at the front desk was sluing his speech, I hope he didn't drive in that morning. Truck was at 1/8th tank, kind of inconvenient, and really difficult to bring it back at the same fuel level when it's that low. Everything else was fine.

I had registered for express check-in, but, wasn't able to do it due to lack of staff. Fortunately, it wasn't very busy so I didn't have to wait long. If it had been busy and I couldn't do express check-in, then I would have been unhappy.

We ended up waiting in line 50 minutes to get our keys. The guys working were trying to stay pleasant with customers but they were slow and kept stopping what they were doing to deal with side problems they couldn't even solve rather than completing the task at hand. The worst example was that once I was getting my keys, the guy was texting his boss trying to get more staff, but wouldn't even wait to hand me my keys before texting. I stood there an extra 30 seconds while he texted just to have him take three seconds to hand me my keys! It showed a complete disrespect for my and everyone else's time. What didn't help was UHaul's video on how to check in via app was playing on loop and it was becoming an actual torture device to all of us in line.

Client service desk staff was just an idiot. We had used the express checkout option and had to go inside to collect keys. He spent one minute explaining that if my assigned truck was blocked in that I need to use an on screen prompt to pick another truck (because the assigned one was blocked). When he went all the way back on the prompts, the options were only ‘found my truck’ or ‘can’t find my truck’. Then he went on to explain that it should be intuitive that I would use ‘can’t find my truck’ and pick another truck in this instance. Just a rude guy overall. Everyone else on site seemed friendly and helpful.

Advise them that when renting "the van", the floor is not totally flat. It has the rear wheel mudguards obstructing cargo. Thus less efficient.

A full service U-Haul store in the west end of Ottawa would be great for customers. Also the south end of Ottawa is growing rapidly. Traffic is heavy other locations would do well.

The no onsite parking was the deal breaker for me. Paying for parking up a block and across a busy street is a burden. The "free" option is a lot a kilometre away towards the mall. I will never rent from this location again. For me, driving to a location with parking will be on my google search for me next rental.

I rented a pickup truck for towing as I have done several times from this location. I got to where my trailer was and the connection for the lights was not the same as it's always been. I called the location who suggested I call roadside assistance. I then returned to the location where I was told there was nothing they could do and they billed me for the truck. I hadn't even been gone an hour. Terrible treatment of a loyal customer.

Pick up was fast and easy. Great staff very pleasant. A shout out to the lady in Montreal who handled my booking. First she didn't have to answer as it wasn't her territory, and then she gave such good service going out of her way to make sure everything was right.

I had called the location prior to going in person to obtain a quote and the clerk was clearly annoyed. I even asked if it was a bad time because he seemed busy he said no. At some point mid-sentence and without any warning the clerk puts me on hold and then transfers me to the 1-800 number which is in the United States. This type of customer service was definitely unacceptable.

The gentleman at the front desk was anything but a gentleman. He was very loud, had an aggressive tone and seemed genuinely upset that he "HAD" to do his job. he gave me trouble about booking the truck on the morning of which I didn't I had booked it the morning before. When I told him that it was booked prior he then said whoever I talked to was an idiot and he was gonna kill them. then laughed saying that wasn't my problem, which is the first time we agreed all morning. Maybe it was a bad day for this gentleman, we all have them, but it made for a less than pleasant experience. The rest of my rental was quite smooth and easy. return was quick and easy as well

Advised that the trailer would be able to take a small tractor but the tractor did not fit. The gate was large enough but the side were off by 1/8 of a inch.

took over an hour to pick up the trailer as the lights on the first 4 trailers we tried did not work, once we found the trailer the billing process needed to be started over, which took way too long. why not simply change the trailer number on the original paperwork... this is not a customer friendly process and needs to be modernized.
