I rented a Uhaul truck on Dec 26 to help my son move out of his college apt. We dropped it off the same day at the location closest to where he was moving to (which was recommended by the rep at the pickup location). 3 weeks later I get a receipt showing I had been charged for 7 extra days to the tune of $280! It also noted a 1/4 dropoff date which is not accurate. I have contacted Uhaul and all they have done is file a "dispute form" on my behalf. Rest assured if this is not resolved it will be the last time I ever use Uhaul for anything. And, that's really a shame considering ive been a customer many times over for about 30 years now with no issues ever! If this is what their business practice has become I would say stay far away.

RONNELL FEspecially in cold weather and before someone picked up the rental, it would be helpful to have them double check the air pressure in the tires and confirm the battery is strong
THOMAS WI was charged for a dolly that I brought back my account should have been just put on hold. I let the front desk know I was bringing the dolly back before they closed as we had forgot to put it back in uhaul. When I returned the dolly as proposed I was told that they closed my account out and charged me 200 dollars for the dolly. They proceeded to tell me I had to take it up with uhaul even though I returned the dolly.
