The location was over 40 miles away from the destination in which zip code was applied. There was no need to have to travel that far when there were 10+ locations within a 10 mile Radius. I was definitely overcharged for the rental. I was charged a fuel fee when I picked up the truck the fuel line/level was almost empty. I called several times to SMJ Outlet and only got their answering machine. I will be going there tomorrow to see how they came up with $298 total.Terri R.

We did have to go to this location because there weren't any trucks available at the other locations closer to my house. But we had an excellent experience here.Ronnie S.
The only problem that I received was the receipt attachments cannot be seen or open by the customer. I think this is done intentionally. In addition; all emails sent were with a no reply which means that the customer cannot go further with anything. The gas meter states that it had 3/4 of a tank when in reality it only had half a tank. Although the truck was in good working order. The person at this facility that I rented from did not utter one word. He merely took our info, walked us to the truck and handed us the keys. We took it upon ourselves to inspect vehicle and noted it was ok. We realized the lack of communication when we dropped off the vehicle in Pleasanton. The lady that we turned in the vehicle to told us that we had overfilled the gas tank. We told her that where we had the vehicle they never told us that the gas tank was not completely filled. She apologized and said often times These third-party vendors don't take care to explain important information. So basically we overfilled the gas tank when we didn't need to. Although we made it safely to our destination safely, I'd have to say I'm going to completely think about renting again from one of your 3rd party vendors. Especially when I overspent on gas. It definitely doesn't leave a good taste in your mouth.Javier C.

Well first place didn't even open in the morning where I had a reservation for a truck but from main office person helped to get the truck from other place. Please other customer had 9:00 in the morning for a truck but never showed up until 10:30, I call main office for help.JAMES K.
I needed to change my reservation from one way to local. They don't have a phone number to do that. They still charged me the one way rate. The first 30 miles were supposed to be free. They charged me all the miles. 49. Round trip is about 34-35 miles if that they charged me 49 miles. Also I needed to return the truck Monday and they charged me for Tuesday when they don't even have a phone # to reach anyone in the office. It's like a fax number or something so it just starts making dial up sound after a ring or two.Brandon D.
