This is incompetence on all levels. All Uhaul needs to do to get back to the roots of great customer service is not bully people who complained and not with hold their money which is theft. Moreover, not create red lines policies to demand a deposit when none was ever needed. I pray to God for you to get back on track. Great luck!
Once again the staff at the uhaul moving and storage of paradise valley at 4110 E bell road were exceptional. I was unable to figure out how to have my review directed at that store but I hope this is seen by somebody because the manager Rod thierauf was absolutely the best employee you have. The guy deserves a raise.
David made me feel uncomfortable by saying, "Let's get you out of here quickly, because I know you don't want to be around me any longer than you half too." He demanded my ID to speed of the process inputting my information in the computer. Because of my fear of catching Covid 19 I cleaned my ID once returned. I the bright side Ian/Evan was quick and professional. Is this going to be the norm with David?
I had several transactions with uhaul this week. First time using you in years. Every thing we needed was screwed up.

NOT ONLY HE IS THE BIGGEST TOOL IN YOUR "ABUSE AUTHORITY" DEPARTMENT, BUT YOU HE IS A DICTATOR IN THAT STORE TO TELL YOUR CUSTOMER WHAT TO DO BESIDES RENTING! HOWEVER YOU TELL HIM TO SO YOUR JOB; HE RESPONDS BY SAYING, "YOU DO NOT TELL ME WHAT TO DO, YOU CAN JUST LEAVE MY STORE!" DAVE NEEDS A REAL HARD SMACK UPSIDE HIS HEAD! JUST BECAUSE I AM NOT BRAINWASHED INTO FEAR TO HAVE TO WEAR A MASK FOR SAFETY, IT I RATHER DISCONCERNING THAT UHAUL WASTED MONEY ON A PLASTIC SHIELD THAT GOES FROM THE TOP OF THE COUNTER, ALL THE WAY UP TO THE CEILING! NOT TO MENTION, HE IS WEARING A MASK; WHICH DAVE IS UAHUL POLICY, NOT MY POLICY! YOU ARE THE ONE SUPPOSE TO WEAR THE MASK, NOT ME, THE PAYING CUSTOMER. I originally made my reservations at the downtown location, but due to a customer not bringing a truck back on time my reservation was moved to the 17 and McDowell location right away, and the Uhaul personnel were on top of it, so it was no problem at all. Great service all around.
This particular location was fine but my overall experience was horrible, I rented my truck for pick up at a specific location because it was close to me and they sent me to 3 different locations because they drop it off appearently at the wrong location and the third time I was sent to the wrong location ... a discount would have been nice ðŸ˜¡
Extremely professional and knowledgeable, both check-in and check-out. These employees are an asset to the company.
Need more of an instructions. The place was closed when the truck was returned. I didn't know where to put the equipment. Video needs to be updated.
Nothing at this location. They were honest and accomodating.
Usb ports in the truck did not work. More intuitive stereo like Bluetooth. Build in GPS.
Hire better staff.
Tried several times to get thru on the phone, when I finally got a representative on the phone I got cut off shortly after. Drove to store to make reservation. When picking up the agent was none too friendly and bumped my return time to 24 hours after I walked in the door, not when I left with truck.
I didnt get to rent the trailer, and I'm still being charged
I was charged a second day when showing up 2 hours late. I was told I could even drop it after hours It would be one day only. If I would have know there was a second day charge I would have used it a second day. Just dont thinkt he charge is fair. (Trailer worked great)
waited more than a half hour for anyone to show up. they had a poor attitude. acted as if they were bored with their job. did not explain anything about the equipment i rented. and when i returned the equipment, had to wait again for service.

The young lady was awesome! I was a few minutes late and she still took my reservation.... Great customer service! The person who put on my hitch was awesome too. Keep up the great work.
Employees untrustworthy. Overcharged. Lied too. The company I work for spent 2,500.00 back in February. Ill advise the company I work for when they move me again here shortly not to go with u haul because of how I was treated and taken advantage of.

Customer service at time of pickup was really poor. Both employees were wearing earbuds and seemed bothered by our arrival. We rented a trailer for 24 hours, and she shorted us 20 minutes. We hadn't even connected the trailer yet and already had less than 24 hours until return deadline. Then she was really unclear about where we were supposed to move our vehicle. Your employees can make or break the experience. In this case, the employees weren't doing you any favors. On return, however, my husband interacted with a different employee and had a much better experience. Still, we won't be going back to this location.
