The uhaul was full of ants in the cab and the trailer. We went pickup at 8am as scheduled and the lockbox assigned had no keys. We called uhaul and spent until 9:15am when a storage worker happened to pass by but said she didn’t deal with uhauls and couldn’t help. She saw my frustration and i said we just need keys !!! We were checked in but no keys. She was not happy or helpful but she got the keys for us.
Nicole PI went to Plaquemine location to reserve truck and somehow U-haul schedule my pickup in Baton Rouge. Did get the truck from Plaquemine
Doug BSomeone extended their reservation and I ended up having to drive 30 miles away to pick up the trailer. The U-Haul representative promised me a discount but when I got to Plaquemine, they said there was not one on there. I had to drive 60 miles round-trip out the way, adding an hour to my day and had to reschedule and pay more for my movers.
