reserved for two days (48hrs) and when arrived only had down for 24Hrs. Reserved for 300pm to 300pm but called and picked up at 455pm. when returned next day at 335pm,tried to bill for two days. was not pleased with uhaul. this experience was a first but enough to push me to try Penske next time.

It's my mistake I will NEVER go into a store to pre-rent a Cargo Van WEEKS before I needed it. I will from now on just rent online directly like I have in the past. The store should have informed me they don't "carry" the Cargo Van there. I was stuck with a 10' truck that was too big for the furniture I had. Plus the floor boards were dirty, and it got terrible gas mileage and the RPM's ran way too high on the highway! I'll rent from Uhaul again but I'll stick to reserving what I need online!

First off, you could require them to have ALL the equipment that they guaranteed would be there for me. I got a truck, less than the number of blankets I ordered, and no hand truck or furniture dolly.

Rent me equipment from my closes location, not from two other locations 30 and 45 minutes away from my closest u-haul store. Requiring me drop my car off at the first location to god get a trailer at a second and retrieve my car from the first.

I was told I could pick up from forest hills location in loves Park Illinois and would have unlimited miles. Both of those was a lie, loves Park is a holding facility. I was told I would have a truck and a towing kit in Winnebago for me at 2:30 pm, after talking to scheduling Department at 12 pm I get to the location they don’t have either one, they don’t even have towing kits and a towing kit won’t work for my vehicle. I was than told they have a truck for me in loves park area but would have to go to popular grove for an auto transport that would work for my vehicle. I was told by Winnebago, customer service and Forest Hills location that any u haul spot I take the truck to, they can help hook up the auto transport for my vehicle. I get to popular grove they couldn’t help me hook it up, never hooked one up or even knew where to begin. I had to have a stranger that didn’t work for u haul help me. I load half my truck for u haul then they call to tell me they gave me the wrong truck. They also left there scanner on the auto transport that I found. They said I can turn it in when I get to Texas. It took 3 days, several hours a lot of running around and talking to several people to figure out where to turn it into. I turned in my truck and auto transport to a location that evidently didn’t scan it in so I get a call 5 days later saying do you need another day with your equipment. I told him I turned it in 5 days ago. My u haul experience was very poor they did try and accommodate all the issues I had, but for the price I paid for one way about $1300 definitely not worth it. I feel they should of accommodated me a little more for all of the issues I had.

I had reserved my uhaul on the uhaul website. I wanted a regular pick up truck, but when I got there, there were only the big trucks. Not complaining, but not sure if I got over charged. Overall all though, everything was great.

Both locations were extremely helpful and friendly! The problem we had was confusion with uhaul policies about the applicable charges for over 24 hours rentals. Our contract said one thing and we were being charged alot more upon our return. The contracts need to be more explicit regarding base charges and extra charges in order to avoid confusion and frustration. We were thankful uhaul honored the contract and would use it again.

Snyder did not work with me when I went over my 24 hour rental (which I told them a head of time) i was 4-5 hours later than 24 hours and they charged me for another full day. I would think twice about renting from this place. They had no clue what they were doing.

The employees at snyders location are rated excellent. The experience and problems with u-Haul order and computer issues is poor. Only frustration and confusion for customers and field locations providing U-haul service equipment. Highly recommend management reach out to field locations to discuss problems and issues. The person helping when I picked it up was very knowledeable. However when I returned it there were 2 cashiers running around paged someone twice but they didn't come. They told me leave my email address & they would email the charges. Due to moving and no internet I had to wait until this morning to find out what I was charged.

There was an issue with mileage on contract. It said .69/mile and they were going to charge me .79/mile but took care of it in a few minutes.
