Have all the equipment at the location that one reserve's when make ng reservations online to ease the process this is the second time I reserved a truck and a appliances dolly and the appliances dolly was not available at the location .other than that I had a pleasant experience with this location..SCOTT W.
Inspect and maintain vehicles when they get returned! I had to waste my time and unload over 4 dozen moving blankets out of the teuck before taking it. Also when I got the truck to my home to load it up the Low oil light came and I had to again waste my time and money to go buy oil to put in the truck, it was over 3 quarts low!!! Uhaul really needs to weed out all there old vehicles. I made a 700 mile trip in a truck that had no cruise control and shook bad the whole way, the mirrors shook so bad I couldn't even make out what was behind me making this very unsafe. I will never use Uhaul again. Yes it was the cheapest out of all of them, but when they let people take the oldest vehicle in the fleet for a cross country move instead of letting them take the newer model that was empty and I'm sure full of oil thays not good customer service.James W.
Went to this location because the place in Woodstock, IL where I was to get my truck was closed. Had to drive 30 minutes to Snyders. Put me two hours behind schedule. Snyders is a Pharmacy. The clerk who handled my transaction was new to the process and slow.Joseph W.

Your customer service center sucks. I set up a reservation that was moved 30 mins away while I was in the store trying to do my pick up. Overall I will never use your service or recommend U haul to another living person. The person. I spoke to on the phone was rude and uncaring. Fortunately the person at the store that rents U haul that has 100% nothing to your company was amazing, thoughtful and kind. Your company is horrible and my family and anyone I can stop from using your service I will try my hardest.Patricia V.

Customer service at this location was excellent. They went out of their way (providing a U-haul customer service number) so that I could dispute the fuel charge (picked it up with 1/2 tank & returned it with 3/4 tank)Katherine E.

Teach them how to read a gas gauge. And if you are having people fill by the eighth of tanks make sure the gauge has that reading on it. Overall experience was horrible took way to long to rent the truck and get going.Timothy D.
First of all, I had to wait an hour at the location because even though my reservation was for 8am, they didn't open until 9am the truck was not available to pick up without someone there. Second of all, the staff was not particularly nice.Jarrod D.

The location itself was fine. The pharmacy staff were polite, but they were unaware of my reservation. In addition we paid for 24 pads, they had only 12 plus one left in the truck. Aside from the location my experience was not one for recommendation. I rented a truck for 24hrs, at least that's the option I picked online. I knew very well that we would load Friday evening and Saturday morning. I knew also that we would transport and unload Saturday mid and late morning which would put the return back somewhere on Saturday afternoon. Therefore, I chose the 24hr option on the form when creating the reservation. I did not however double check the confirmation email to see that in fact an 8hr reservation had been created. Then at 2AM I receive a text saying just that. I then checked email and saw that the reservation was in fact for 8hr, which was ridiculous in reality since my best guess had the return occurring Saturday afternoon. So I adjusted our alarm for 6AM and fell back to sleep. We then awoke early, woke our children up and worked as fast as possible to return the truck before three 8hr periods had past. In the end I paid for everything twice, including 24 pads of which only 13 were provided. I simply cannot afford the outlandish charge for my rental and cannot understand why I would be penalized for choosing Uhaul. This whole mess ruined the experience of moving my daughter into her first apartment and I feel robbed of the good experience that could have been if we weren't forced to rush due to an error on the reservation time. My complaint is not with the location. I booked my truck online and requested a utility dolly and when I went to pick up my truck they did not have the dolly. When booking online they are not updated any equipment available at the location and that needs to get corrected because otherwise the location gets the brunt of the discretion which is not fair. I don't blame them but I am sure there are other people that will, I know it is the online situation that is not clear as to what each location has. That needs to get corrected.Tami S.
Clerk did not know how to complete the reservation if I did not have a cell phone. I do not see where it requires that in your contract or on line. This was very frustrating and caused an hour delay..I was not picking the truck up where I livedJon S.

I was not made aware that my location for pick up had changed. It was a major inconvenience. I had to drive 20 minutes out of my way because uhaul did not contact me to let me know my pickup location changed. Also dropping off the uhaul was unnecessary too. The woman taking care of the drop off had me wait for over 15 minutes to ring up other customers after I was already in line. Overall I am not a very satisfied customer.Brooke W.
