I had a reservation for 8:30 a.m. The app confirmed it and told me there was a $50 guarantee. When I arrived the app told me that there was no vehicle assigned and that I needed to call the 800 number. Once I called uhaul a representative told me that that location did not assign the unit and then he puts me on hold as he contacted someone who said that it would not be ready until after 10 when the location opened...I waited until almost 10:30. I still had to wait in the store once I arrived and then the very nice woman worked on all my paperwork manually or whatever it took me 20 minutes to leave the store. This just totally screwed up my morning and the morning of my friends that were over to help me. I ended up not being able to get everything done in time. And the guy on the 800 number told me that the store would have to compensate me or try to help me because of the inconvenience and the woman told me there is absolutely nothing that she can do that it would have had to been the main number. So either a lack of training on both people's parts or they just opposite pointed the finger at each other so nobody gave me any type of savings for my inconvenience. This didn't just give me a bad taste of the pharmacy, this totally reflects poorly on U-Haul overall.

I was a walk in customer and had no issue renting a truck they had in the lot.

STEVE DMy reservation location was changed the day before, which added 20 miles one way to pick up the uhaul. Then the reservation time was 8 am but the location they changed it to wasn't open until 9:30 am and keys were not placed in the outside lock box for mobile pickup. Uhaul app and overall system was not running very well that day which added to the frustration.
