Howie HI was treated well by the staff and the van worked well. However the vehicle did not have snow tires which made the driving treacherous. Furthermore, I was charged $9.67 extra to fill the tank to 3/4 full, when the tank was only just over 1/2 full when I picked it up. I put $19.50 worth of gas in the vehicle before I returned it which paid for more than the approximately 50 kms I drove the vehicle. Finally, I was charged for 50 miles when, having checked with google, the total round trip mileage was around 50 kms. I will never use that U-Haul site again and I will look for other places to rent a vehicle before I go back to U-Haul. This is a shame because my past experiences with U-Haul in Aurora and Newmarket were excellent.
