The owner of Northport tire and wheel was very helpful and friendly. The Uhaul app is useless and doesnt work. I tried to pick up my truck at 7am and could not because the scanning feature would not work for the back of my drivers license. Had to sit there and wait till 8 am for the business to open. Called Uhaul and got redirected to there truck help line where I waited on hold for 15min and still didnt get through. Uhaul should send you a lock box code to your phone when you are supposed to pick it up not wait till you are there to refill out information on an app that has issues. Could have done all that before pick up and not caused me to wait an hour on my most busy day.

Very kind crew and worked with me to find solutions.
Adrienne GSignage for Uhaul front desk. A little confusing where to go for pick up drop off. However, staff in both gas station and service garage where knowledgeable and communicated well together.
Mathea SManager was very friendly and helpful. Trailer rental was good value. I appreciated the referral from the car detailing business on Reach St., Port Perry, Ontario. Thanks.
Yared LWe rented the U-Haul days in advance, the day before we were to pick up I called to confirm, they told me they didn’t have the one available because we got bumped for a one way trip, which apparently trumps an in Town one, and said it would be available the following morning , when I said that wouldn’t work they conveniently found one, when we were going to leave in the truck I had to throw a bunch of garbage from the passenger side before I could get in, which fine ok, but when we returned the truck with no garbage and more gas than they had in it, they tried charging us a $30 gas fee, plus $46 for gas and a $25 cleaning fee when it was brought back cleaner than it left. Very sneaky people, I even had proof in their email that the gas was not lower, but the thought they would charge us anyways
