Rented at end of day on a Friday for 24 hrs. Owner indicated he closed shop at noon on Saturday so I could just bring it back on Monday morning. Brought it back Monday at 9:30. I was then charged for 3 days vs 1 day. Call to owner, said was his day off and he would take care of it on Tuesday. Wednesday did not hear back and called again. Now said he took Monday and Tuesday off. Would correct it within a few hours. Friday now and had not heard anything back and called back again. He said he processed already and I would see a credit on my card within 8 days. Hours later I saw email from U-Haul credit for initial invoice and then charged for 1 day. So now corrected and guessing he didn’t process on Wednesday or I would have seen corrected invoices. So will not be using that dealer in future. Not a good experience for simple one day rental. Normally would prefer to use small business and have used him before but won’t again

The owner of Northport tire and wheel was very helpful and friendly. The Uhaul app is useless and doesnt work. I tried to pick up my truck at 7am and could not because the scanning feature would not work for the back of my drivers license. Had to sit there and wait till 8 am for the business to open. Called Uhaul and got redirected to there truck help line where I waited on hold for 15min and still didnt get through. Uhaul should send you a lock box code to your phone when you are supposed to pick it up not wait till you are there to refill out information on an app that has issues. Could have done all that before pick up and not caused me to wait an hour on my most busy day.
