I didn't have a good experience. First, I had an e-hold on my account that took time from my plans, it was there for a reason never explained, the woman on the phone said it wasn't taken off for "some reason" from a rental that I used on August 28, 2018. Secondly when I accidentally dropped my wallet in the truck I rented I was unable to get in touch with the Portland facility where I rented the truck, but when I arrived there the owner/manager was on the phone talking to a customer so I was a little disappointed to have my suspicions confirmed that I probably could have been placed on hold and patched through when the call had ended. Lastly, I am sorry to report that I felt that because I am a woman I was taken less seriously than the other customers. I stood patiently waiting for the owner/manager to get off the phone, and waited, and waited. He didn't once mention to the person on the phone that he had a customer and I could hear the conversation and the way it was going over the same information, this happened around 11:05ish if you want to check the phone calls you claim to record for customer satisfaction. The reason I feel like I was a victim of sexism is that as soon as two men walked into the store, the owner/manager started hurrying the caller off the phone. I guess things all of a sudden became important. I will still use the location because it's convenient, but my expectations for customer service are impacted now.

Reserve a 6x12 cargo trailer and got a 5x10 and was told that there was no 6x12 trailers in the state really needed the 6x12 for what I needed to do. Took me longer than expected and was a hassle. 1 out of 10

The truck was safe, but made a lot of noise and turning/alignment on it seems like needs work. I would try something different or other location to see if there is a difference vehicle quality.

The online reservation system provides no place where you indicate whether it is an out-of-town or in-town rental and the drop off location is an optional field. This has created a situation where I'm paying a much higher price than I should be and will have to work with uhaul representatives to try to get a partial refund. It is awful that uhaul doesn't make this distinction extremely clear on their website and online reservation system. If it is an oversight, it should be fixed (a simple fix would be making the drop off location a required field). Otherwise one would deduce that this is an intentional flaw in the system designed to increase profits at a signficant expense to their customers. If uhaul cannot work with me to remedy this situation I will definitely look elsewhere for moving assistance in the future.

I have nothing but good to say about the UHaul Marginal Way experience. I rented a car trailer. The weather was nasty (sleet & snow). I was actually an hour early, and everything was ready, and went smoothly

Place was understaffed no one seemed to know what they were doing they were just all running around trying to do something.. reserved a trailer when I got there they didn't have the one I reserved had to settle for a smaller one. Trailer was had a bunch of leaves on the inside not impressed at all

The snow removal in the parking lot was VERY poor - I think more attention should be paid to keeping it safe for walking - I slipped a few times while walking from the store to the truck. Also - William the gentleman who checked me in was GREAT! He was friendly, offered tips for the drop off location and helped me with directions. He was all alone on a busy Saturday morning and he took it all in stride and was smiling and an asset to UHAUL. Thank you William.
